Fantastic breakfast. Everything delicious. Blueberry pancake, French toast with the July 4th berries, Sicilian skillet, and highly recommend a side of the loaded hasbrowns. Service was wonderful, very friendly, fast, and checked on us often. Cash or check only. There’s an atm at the bank on the opposite corner.

I love small local diners and Stacy’s fit that description perfectly. Not a greasy spoon, though, very bright and clean inside. You place your order at the counter and they take over from there. Service was quick and friendly and the food was great. Will definitely be returning!

Food was good, but expensive. The blueberry pancake special was a little small at $4.25 for one. Our server was attentive and we had everything we needed promptly. Place is cute, neat and clean. Cash or check only. A little surprising in this day and age of credit and debit. At the prices they charge, they should be able to handle the fees. Once is enough for me.

Delicious food and great service. The place was packed, but our server was attentive and pleasant. The food came quickly and was really tasty and fresh. I had the veggie melt and would recommend it as a good meatless alternative to breakfast (which Stacy’s also does well). Highly recommended!

What a wonderful experience and atmosphere. The owner and staff were warm and friendly. They made you feel right at home. I had the Veggie Beverly…twice….the eggs were done to perfection and the hollandaise sauce was light…veggies were perfect. I am from Madison WI and I will make a trip back to eat at Stacy’s Kitchen. 🙂

It’s a charming place, but I didn’t find it excepcionally good or positively unique in any aspect. I had a good skillet for lunch, since it seems they serve breakfast all day. However, “all day” means until 2pm – at least Sunday, when I was there.
Small place, simple food, the server was a little clumsy, but it was good.

We stayed in Wabasha for a wedding and we were there for a week. I have to give Kate/Katie a big shout out!! She was by herself working the front most days we were there and she is a super star! She did not miss a beat and worked efficiently, with a smile! People could definitely learn from her. The food is absolutely delicious and perfect for a breakfast place. Everyone is so friendly there!

The food was pretty good overall. Service was pleasant, though they were extremely busy. I loved how festive the little cafe was (all decked out for autumn and Halloween). The owner herself went around refilling water, without anyone having to ask – always a nice touch.
There are a few downsides. First, it’s very cramped so during a busy time you will likely have to wait for a table. Second people who are waiting fill up the little vestibule and even overlap into what little free space there is inside the cafe itself. This wound up being a major problem for me, as a first time visitor. The cafe is on the first floor, right inside from the sidewalk. I failed to realize there was a not insignificant step down in my rush to get through without shoving people out of the way. I wound up falling quite hard.
Falling in public is never fun. In fact, it’s downright mortifying. The Minnesotans were very friendly and tried to be helpful. Stacy herself came out to see what she could do, and even commented that “90% of people fall in” and not out, like I did.
I’d give this cute, quaint, albeit a bit overly cozy local place 4 stars… if not for the lack of a sign warning about the step and the people all bunched up waiting for tables right inside the door. I really think that people should be told to wait outside. I realize on days when the weather isn’t gorgeous (which is was that day) this sort of policy may hurt business, but it really creates an unsafe situation (imagine the chaos if there was ever a fire).
I definitely appreciated the kindness of the locals and the owner. That meant a lot. I’ll be dealing with the injuries from this one for a while. It was definitely a good lesson in looking before you walk.
