I decided to stop, being that I was craving something homie. I’m glad I did. No, it’s no fancy place but coming in, felt cozy. I was greeted by a very nice and friendly woman (I wish I asked her name). I was a bit intrigued at the fact that almost no one who worked there, wore a mask but, not familiar with NE regulations. Nevertheless, I was immediately seated and served water. Tony, took my order. I asked a couple of questions, and she was very kind in responding and suggesting. While I waited for my food, I was very surprised to hear Tony speak Spanish as best as she could. When she walked away, I overheard the patrons say how grateful they were she was able to understand them. That was nice to witness. I ordered scrambled eggs, bacon, has browns and silver dollar pancakes. Let me say, it is one of the heartiest and warmest breakfasts I had. Perfect bacon, soft pancakes, fluffy eggs and fantastic hash browns. I was very pleased with my meal but mostly by the service this place provides for everyone. Need more of these places.

We came at a non-busy time mid week, mid afternoon and service was quick.
The tables are placed really close together so I’m extremely glad we were not there at a busy time.
I would have hated having another person 8 inches next to my elbow.
Good selection on menu, and fair pricing too.
Food was good, but honestly, we left feeling “not quite full” and were hungry a few hours later.
Had the fish and chips (good fries) and the 3 piece chicken dinner special (2 of the pieces were mostly friend skin and bone).
But again, prices were good, so if you had to order 2 meals to be full, that would be the same as ordering 1 meal at another place…you’d get just as full for the price but get twice the choices.
So I’d say – good job guys!

The food here hasn’t changed in 30 years and that’s what I like about it. They’re consistent and service is typically fast and friendly. It is dated but clean.

Very nice diner style food and atmosphere! Looks kinda like a dive, But, we had a very good lunch! Nice people, nice waiter, name Xander. Nice young man! We both had the burgers, cheddar burger, and the patty melt on rye bread with swiss cheese. It was a Real hamburger patty! Not a premade hockey puck! Not too much on the spices but a nice grilled beef flavor! Don’t know if it was fried or grilled. Both meals come with fries or coleslaw. Hubby had really nice crispy, lightly seasoned fries and I swapped out my sides for a order of mac n cheese for additonal $1, which was definitely homemade! We’ll be going back again during our stay here!

Food was great and staff was fast and friendly. This restaurant needs a major over haul. Its very dated. But still the food was absolutely great and worth a stop

This was my first visit here and, sadly I was not impressed. We came for breakfast. I ordered 2 eggs basted, ham, hashbrowns and an English muffin. My eggs were perfect, but my English Muffin was very burnt and my ham over done. My daughter ordered the chicken fried steak and eggs. Her steak was over cooked and dry. My other daughter ordered the biscuits and gravy. The gravy was “chunky” and not well seasoned and the biscuits were dry. I was told there food was good, the next time I am in the area, I may give them another try, we all have off days.

Had a great experience at Stack and Steak. Ordered the waffles and bacon, and they were delicious—fresh, well-cooked, and hit the spot. The service was excellent; the staff was incredibly kind and welcoming. It’s a cozy, family-run spot that deserves more attention. If you’re looking for a good meal with a personal touch, definitely give this place a try!

Not even a stray dog would come back to this place. I had the Saturday night special, chicken fried steak. Wife had the hot roast beef. The chicken fried steak tasted like some of the most rancid fry oil I’ve ever had. No part of this so-called steak ever resembled steak. It looked more like and had the texture of beef liver. Wife’s hot beef looked pale, but at least looked like meat. Her comment was more like hospital or retirement home food. Personally think hospitals and retirement homes would clasify more as a 5 star restaurants. What we were served at this place deserved to be in a landfill. In all seriousness, the best parts of this sad meal were the glass of water we were served and walking back out the door. I’m afraid that later tonight I will be woken up in a fetal position in agonizing pain. If you want a good meal on a Saturday evening, do yourself a favor and don’t come here.
