SHOCKING: Popular Burger Place Closing In Western New York
Reviews
Stack Burger has a limited menu but packed full of flavorful options. It was difficult to choose but I managed with a banana pepper burger with onion rings, my son, the Poco loco with fries…..like that child needs anymore crazy.
Service was quick and friendly (like down home friendly). The food was great. My burger was basically covered in cheese deliciousness and banana peppers and my son’s chicken had a great kick and nice grill marks. (I can appreciate a good grill master).
The fries and onion rings both seemed to be fresh made, so love that. I have a preference for battered rings, but for breaded they are the number one I’ve had.
I don’t generally get dessert when I go out but they have a fried peanut butter jelly sandwich with grape whipped cream I had to try. Amazingly good, I had to keep slapping my sons hands away from my piece.
All in all a great experience, we will be back.
The host Anthony was very welcoming and shared his amazing BBQ sauce that was great for fry dipping.
I highly recommend swinging by if you are in the area.
We met up with some friends and were greeted and seated by Anthony. He was friendly and helpful and shared a lot about this awesome local business. I opted for the demon burger, no bun, fries and the pistachio milkshake. First of all let me tell you the pistachio milkshake was one of the best things I’ve tasted in a long time. Delicious pistachio flavor, creamy shake and tons of pistachios mixed in. I felt myself wondering where this shake has been my whole life? I would honestly drive back there just for the shake. Upon ordering the burger Anthony was attentive enough to ask if I had a gluten allergy or if I was avoiding carbs and also let me know a gluten free bun was available. Great to know they have this and understand food allergies. I opted for the lettuce, no bun, so I could fill up on the rest of my meal. The burger was pretty big and had won 2 awards at the 2018 Taste of Buffalo! It had a ton of flavor and was a bit spicy. If you had opted for the bun and garlic parm Mayo I think it would have been the perfect combo. The jalapeños and banana peppers were a nice touch and it was nice to have alternative kinds of toppings on the burger. The fries were hot and fresh cut.
Anthony also shared with us that almost all items served here, except the buns, are made in house. You can definitely tell everything is scratch made and with a lot of heart. The menu is pretty big and offers a lot of variety and a unique spin on some classic comfort foods. The prices were affordable and you got a lot for your money.
The inside is cool. Kind of homey like a diner but with some cool vintage nostalgia, vinyl and music videos from the 80’s and early 90’s.
Gluten free buns and lettuce wraps are available for those avoiding gluten and extra carbs. Specials are updated monthly.
Thank you to Anthony and Stack Burger for offering such a cool, unique spot and your excellent hospitality! We can’t wait to come back and try some other menu items!
The four signature patties were distinctive in their unique flavor profiles but blended together in each bite it was heavenly.
The service received was friendly and safe (ordered during COVID-19 quarantine).
