We had a wonderful meal here. We had a reservation and ate indoors in a comfortable room with a view towards the golf course and mountains.
Our server , Seamus, was outstanding and the food was excellent. For appetizers we had Cesar’s Salad and a tomato bisque soup. For main courses, we had the Rib Eye steak, Bavarian steak, prawn fettuccine, and pad Thai with grilled chicken. So there is a wide variety of dishes and everything was excellent.
We will definitely be back if we are in the area!

The Stables Ranch Grille is an absolute gem. The setting is beautiful with a relaxing view of the course and mountains, perfect for a laid-back but upscale meal. The short rib (pictured) was phenomenal; tender, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. Easily one of the best dishes I’ve had in a while. Great service, chill vibe, and top-notch food all around. Highly recommend if you’re in the area or staying at the Tubac Golf Resort.

Overall, a great experience. Definitely a cut above most other options in the area. We enjoyed being given an excellent table on the covered porch where a great outdoor fireplace enhanced the experience. Our food was a little slow coming but the attentive service more than compensated for any delay. We thought the quality and quatity of the food were good and to-go boxes were needed. We will return whenever we have the opportunity.

My twin sister and me plus our husbands dined here, this Christmas eve. Our waitress, Kim was awesome. We love the ambiance at The Stables Grill. We ordered their bacon wrapped filet. Much to our disappointment, they were out! Therefore, we ordered their Strip Steak. Our steaks were absolutely HORRIBLE….full of fat and gristle. We have never in my 75 years had a WORSE STEAK! Yes, we summoned the manager, he gave us 50% off our wine. However, he should have given us our crappy steak for free! I wouldn’t even feed it to my dog!!! It will be a long time before we go back to this restaurant and spend over $400 for a substandard meal for the four of us. We are so disappointed.

Terrific views of Elephant Head over the adjacent golf green and big cottonwood trees. Intimate, relaxed ranch atmosphere with substantial wooden tables and chairs. Attentive service, water glasses generally refilled without asking and service continues after food is served. I’ve eaten here many times over last 15 years, and it’s Almost 5 stars: food is generally of high quality but sometimes something is off, like recently the grilled chicken on our salads was quite dry, but the salmon fillet was grilled perfectly, crispy on outside and just done inside. Would rate 5 stars if food quality was more consistently at 5-star level.

We recently had lunch & we were a large party. We came because my experience 2yrs ago was so good!! Not good this time. I ordered the very same thing. It was the beet w walnuts & fruit salad.
It was so beautiful I took a picture of it. My salad had fresh beets, small quartered beets, fresh fruit, freshly grilled chicken. My recent salad had canned, tiny pieces of
beets, cold dry chicken & fruit did not taste fresh!!
Please improve!! We love ur atmosphere & restaurant, this was disappointing & we spent over $375 for our party. I deserved better.

Great atmosphere. Service and be hit or miss as you find in resorts. But some good servers here that care. Food is always fantastic. Also atmosphere is “dream like” Except the lighting (get rid of the LED and put in warm light bulbs) Brunch is amazing too. Must be on my 20th visit

We visited Stable’s yesterday at about 1 PM hoping to have lunch. We were seated by the hostess. There was a ton of dog hair on the floor surrounding our table which seemed odd. We were not acknowledged or waited on after 10-15 min so we left. It wasn’t that busy not sure what the problem was. Annoying to say the least.

Nice location overlooking golf course. Took 20 minutes post water to get service. Watching people be seated and served ahead of you was frustrating, only increased by the servers not responding to any attempt to attract their attention. This was with 4 tables outside.
After 20 minutes we went inside to find someone and the rationale by German was “we were confused who was meant to be serving you”.
We still managed to order drinks, though will be going to Elvira for lunch instead, see that review for restaurant in Tubac 5 minutes away from here.
