Family Owned and operated, we have been serving the Grand Haven and surrounding areas since 1985, Daily and nightly specials including all you can eat specials on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday nights. We serve build your own burgers, steaks, chicken, seafood and Mexican entrees. Children’s menu is also available. Dine by the fireplace or sit under the moose. First visit on 02-17-2026. Very interesting interior. The service was very good, and I had the relatively inexpensive luncheon special. Service was excellent. I feel, overall, that their prices are very good. They have a daily lunch and dinner specials except on weekends. It was a cloudy day and I felt that it was a bit dim in the dining area. They have a good menu and I will be back.
On my second visit, about a week after the first visit, I had their wet burrito. Presentation was very good, and the service was also very good, but the burrito had some off flavor that I did not enjoy. It could have been a lot spicier. It also had refried beans in it, which I do not care for in a burrito.

An absolutely amazing place where they had a whole bunch of people when we have walked in around 5pm, and they were able to seat us within twenty minutes. No problem at all. The wait staff was very attentive, and the food was delicious, and the portions were great. I love the Cherry Beer and Rum Chata.

Wonderful dinner out with the family tonight, we called ahead with a larger party and they were able to accommodate us quickly! The grandkids loved all the interesting things to look at. Much appreciated, great food and spectacular service, thank you Addison!!

First time. Nice “lodge” feel atmosphere. Staff was friendly/our waitress was great, food was average. The prime rib was super thin, not a very good cut. Horse radish cream was good, but would’ve like more horse radish flavor. Lobster was a bit over cooked. Garlic mashed potatoes were really salty, Caesar salad was good, dressing had good flavor. The chicken noodle soup was average, not much flavor too much cream. I might try again and order different. Burger, French dip, perch may have been better choice.

It is so nice to have my steak taste like STEAT! So many other places put too much seasoning on their steaks, you loose the true flavor of the steak! I really enjoyed my meal! I’d add a photo but I finished my meal before I thought about photos! I had the sizzler and I highly recommend it! Thank you!

It’s a cute place. Went on a Friday night with my eating partner and I tried the all you can eat fried fish. You can choose your fish to be broiled, if you opt out of fried.
Onion rings as an appetizer, and they were pretty good. Could of used more flavor though.
Salads could of used a bowl or bigger plate, as the plate was small for the salad. With that being said, it can be messy for the table while mixing your dressing.
Fried fish was good. I would say the flavor is pretty descent. I would definitely have used more seasoning, but this place has more seasonings than most places i been too.
Our waitress was amazing. Very nice and always on top of service.
It was a bit of a wait for our food, but it is a sit down restaurant. So be mindful of that. The food came out hot and fresh. Which is why I rated it high. French fries was delicious and i loved their ranch dressing.
I would definitely go back and try other items on the menu.

Two people in party. Service was good (friendly & courteous), atmosphere was pleasant, bourbon flight was quite tasty (pictures included in review) , food was good, (ayce prime rib (med. rare) good, but not great, a little chewy in some areas of the portion). For a two person party expect to spend around $90.⁰⁰ to $100.⁰⁰, including drinks and gratuity. Over all experience was good.

So many good things to say about this place. To begin, it felt like home as soon as I walked in. Staff was incredibly welcoming and friendly. Beautiful scenery throughout, I wish I could have taken more photos. Also, get this… the salad bar has chicken wings… WAT? Amazing. Saturday night special is featured in the photos below, which was the steak and lobster. Great prices and an overall fun time. Ashley (forgive my spelling should it be off) was a delight. Very friendly, attentive, funny, and knew her product on the menu. Hats off to everyone at the Stable Inn. CHECK IT OUT.
