St Tropez provides a cozy and festive environment to its guests; just as you would expect from the South of France’s generous culture. The refined wood on the ceiling and shelves, combined with the diffused lights and candles, contribute to a warm and vibrant atmosphere. Our open kitchen concept and the massive communal table located in the heart of the restaurant set the tone for the values and beliefs we intend to bring to the place — sharing and caring.
Oysters, wine & Provençal cooking in a setting with warm woods, large windows & an open kitchen.

The service was attentive and we enjoyed the nicely plated dishes we ordered. I was too full for dessert, but they sounded delicious, too.
The only downside was, there were some very loud people whose voice you could hear so loudly even from the bathroom. I’m sure it depends on the crowd, but it wasn’t the most pleasant experience.
Most recent visit was this Wednesday before Thanksgiving. I called the restaurant to book one very specific window bay, and I enlisted their help in proposing to my now fiancée! We had our first date here and I wanted to recreate our first date. Yohann and Ali and their staff pulled out all the stops to make our evening perfect, from setting up our table with photos and capturing our moment, to letting us celebrate well after the last patrons had left, and like I said, always save room for dessert here. The chocolate mousse can change your world. I hadn’t met the owner and management until this week, but they insisted on treating us to champagne, several desserts, honestly, it was too kind. St Tropez is a West Village neighborhood gem that will warm your heart and satisfy your palate.
They have amazing food , great service, and atmosphere!
This time we ordered oysters , Foie gras, hanger steak and truffle risotto with scallops, and creme brulee for desert. Everything was FANTASTIC!
And had some special cocktails.
I will highly recommend this place for everyone who is looking for cute spot in West Village and good food.
Service was lovely. Our server was attentive and helped us land a few of our dishes based on what we were looking to eat that night.
Atmosphere is warm, cozy, and dimly lit. It was still at a good volume though it was dinner time, which was pleasant because it was during peak dinner hours.
Ali goes above and beyond every single time we visit. He’s attentive, welcoming, and truly makes us feel taken care of like family, not just customers. It’s rare to find someone who takes such pride in what they do and creates an experience that keeps you wanting to come back again and again.
Because of Ali, every visit feels personal, comfortable, and memorable. He’s a big reason why this place stands out from anywhere else we’ve been. We always leave happy, and it’s all thanks to him and the amazing service from everyone there.
Highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking not just for amazing food, but for genuine hospitality.
Pros:
– Extremely attentive staff—Ali was truly amazing, one of the best servers ever !!!!
-Very affordable compared to similar venues in West Village
-Great vibes and atmosphere.
-The food and drinks were amazing.
Cons:
-Not ideal for very large groups; our party of 50 was just about comfortable.
-Communication with the event poc was slow—I had to follow up multiple times, which was frustrating at times, but I’m glad it all worked out.
