I enjoyed this restaurant. I came in around brunch time. I Was able to enjoy both pancakes and an acai bowl. The brewed coffee was tasty and they had stevia. My server and other staff were friendly and helpful.

So so lunch. Definitely need to add additional staff. Not fair to the few that you have to handle as many tables as the bistro has outside. 1 waitress for 15+ tables is not right and doesn’t leave time for proper cleaning during these times. Food was as expected and good but the service was overshadowing the overall lunch experience.

Quaint bakery restuarant in Encinitas and always a tasty wonderful experience. Ordered the ABC Omelet comes with red potatoes, fruit with a choice of baguette or croissants. The size of the croissants/ chocolate was humongous and we enjoy the unlimited selection of gourmet coffee. There’s a variety to choose from . We had hazelnut and vanilla coffee with cream. There’s a mega outdoor dinning and the restroom is centrally located above the steps.

Worst experience ever! ZERO customer service!
They are closing the kitchen at 3, so orders should be done by 2:45 which is all okay and understandable. They gave us French fries. Some plates had literally 7 fries and the first ones quite more. The last two plates came late but with disgusting oily fries. When I asked the waitress whom from the beginning was so rude, she said “oh well someone has to eat the ones in bottom what do you want me to do?” “If you don’t feel like eating it well just don’t” I talked to the manager and she changed it for other type of side order. The waitress was rushing us with an order of 9 people. I understood and it was 2:30 and I said please I have to translate so please be patient and she said “I give you two minutes and you should be done” she left and another waitress came to take the order.
I’ve coming here for many years and this is my first bad experience in this place. The last few times I came I experience some type of rudeness but not as bad as this one. The manager was good and took care of changing my side order and apologized many times.

I came here to eat some brunch. It was very delicious and the sweet girl who helped us Jennifer was very kind and attentive. She recommended a delicious pastry. I would definitely recommend you come in and try their food and pastries! Very yummy especially if you have a sweet tooth like me!

Went here for breakfast with a friend. You order and pay after waiting in a line. Very good omelet, good orange juice, very good potatoes with the eggs. Coffee cake was excellent. Chocolate croissant was a disappointment. Coffee was a surprise, they don’t do espresso. But there is a Starbucks next door. I will go back, generally excellent, with friendly and prompt service and a relaxed indoor/outdoor setting.

Loved their spinach quiche! Went during the street fair so a lot of music, shops and people watching to keep one busy. I’d give 5 stars but it was a little difficult watching everyone else get their food when I had ordered way before them. Especially when I was told that it was already made and just needed to be warmed up. I’d still come back though- I want to try their delicious looking French toast.

How QUAINT!!! Lovely atmosphere, delicious food, great value, and as the cherry on top, an extremely delightful hostess. We visited on a weekday, so Mia was running a one-woman show, and managed the bistro like a pro. As busy as she stayed, she was perky and personable with us, and left us with an experience worth returning for. I will definitely be back – and will call ahead of time to make sure I get to see Mia!!!

Giant pastries line the display case at only $2-3. The menu has a span of delicious brunch options – good luck choosing one! Plenty of seating inside and out and friendly staff to boot.
Ordered:
California Benedict – Ingredients were fresh and cooked well, with the exception of the flatbread underneath. It was overly toasted and became hard to cut, let alone bite into. My husband just ended up eating everything on top of it, but was delicious nonetheless.
Veggie omelette- Hit the spot. Fresh ingredients and the omelette was moist and flavorful.
We’d definitely come back.

Delicious and Relaxing. The omelettes were very tasty, and the Baked goods all looked like pieces of art. I had an omelette and a scone, and that was a nice taste for breakfast. The patio outside was a great place to eat on a Saturday morning – a very relaxing atmosphere. I will be back.
