I am not a pizza fanatic. But the crust is GREAT. It’s magic. It’s hard to do well to make more than just a pizza crust.

As for the pizza, my buddies loved it. Me? It’s good. I like their green pizza minus the basil. I’d probably add pepperoni (to add saltiness of the meat) to it. As for the three pepper pizza, they liked it. Me? I am never a fan of tomato sauce but it works for most people.

Interestingly, they misheard “3 pepper” for “pepperoni” so they gave us a free pepper slice of pizza. When they supposedly overcooked the pepperoni, which was really not that bad (25% char vs 15% char), they gave us an additional slice of pepperoni. So basically they gave us two additional slices of pizza for free. In return, we just tipped them the “price of another slice of pizza.”

For that kind of service, 5 star — plus I liked the crust. Enjoy people. Btw, after eating 4 slices, we wanted to try the others bc if those were good, what else could be good…

The tomato pie was outstanding. We had that and the pepperoni and they were both amazing. Girl that took our order was also fantastic to deal with. Went around noon today and got in and out with no line.

My husband is from NY and it is high praise to say this pizza is AMAZING! A sneaky highlight to our trip. True NY-style and the tavern is super cool. Hidden in the back and dimly lit – it was a vibe! 10/10 would recommend!

Hidden Gem in Lower Garden District

St Pizza is a hidden gem tucked into the Lower Garden District. You order from the cutest little window, grab a seat outside, and let life slow down for a minute. The pizza is thin, crispy, sold by the slice, and dangerously good.

Pro tip: get the cookie too.

We stopped in for lunch and grabbed four slices and two cookies. There was a short line and it took about 10 minutes to our food. Both my husband and I want to go back for dinner because we feel that we didn’t get the best version of their offering – the pizza was delicious but overcooked (my jaw was hurting by the time we finished) and the dough needed a little salinity. I would personally add a little flake salt to the kale pie although that was my favorite one. Sauce was bright and fresh.

It’s like you’re entering a special club… except it’s cheesy, mouth watering pizza! Experience it once, & you’ll be back for more. Be sure to treat yourself to a warm, chocolate chip cookie for dessert!

I had high hopes for this place, I paid $44 and some change before tip for a slice and a full pie. I thought the pie would be better than the slice because it would be fresh. Imagine my family’s disappointment when I got home and noticed the entire pizza was burnt.

This was recommended by owner of pub earlier in day. Walk in pizza by the slice up front. Sit down area dosent open till 1700. We got there at 1645 and went next door to wine bar, good experience there.

Came back after 1700 and we’re seated quick. Small dining area and VERY dark (can’t read menu dark). Using phone light made selection and enjoyed drink till arrival. Waiter, Adam, help wife find good drink with taste testing.

Food is pricey but you get what u pay for. Pizza was good, crust is awesome. Salad was more than enough for 2.

Bill came and made me stop and think. Amount was as expected but had a single 3.5% entry for “Staff Health & Wellness” added…?!? Adam earned his 22% tip but have never seen that before! Guess establishment is adding fees for meeting staff benefits??? Will try to add Pic. If you treat customers well, like Adam our server, you shouldn’t add fees….ull get tipped.

Over all would recommend, just watch charges.

Excellent pizza place. The dough was the standout. Chewy with the right amount of crispness. First thing I noticed taste wise was the fresh tomato taste of the sauce. Then the pepperoni has that little burnt crispy edge that I like and just the right amount of spice. The cheese didn’t overpower but tired everything together nicely. One of the best slices I’ve ever had! St Pizza is a must visit!

Arrived at 6pm, restaurant was reasonably busy so we were seated at the bar. Dark, cosy atmosphere. Very attentive bartender. We shared an enormous 18inch pizza. House plain with extra peppers-very good. Would recommend.
