Absolutely amazing place. The views on the deck are wonderful. Alligator, BIG turtle, great blue heron, family of ducks, all right under the deck. Perfect for viewing.
Oh! And the food!!! Someone sure knows what they are doing. We had the new duck special, fantastic. It looked too done for me, but I was mistaken. It was tender, moist and crispy!! Perfect actually. And I’m a duck lover! The rice was also amazing. With pieces of roasted duck on top!! Did I say that it was delicious?!?! My husband had the deep fried oysters. One of his favourites. Going on our list of places that we HAVE to revisit!

Great food. No wait.. 5 star service with a smile no joke. We were visiting from Seattle. They had the deck lights off and the doors locked. But, they offered and then did open the doors and turned back on the lights for us. Now we did not see any gators. But as the sign says Don’t!! For a reason…

Food was great, Had the gator, shrimp, burger, baked potato, fries, and green beans. Food was served within around 10 and a half minutes, my server Hailey was great and had a very hospitable attitude, bathrooms were clean and so were the tables. My only thing is prices were a little up there but worth it and the green beans were nothing to write home about. However one of the best burgers and gator I’ve had. Highly recommend

We eat here all the time and I love the food and service. May times they have live music too They have a great Seafood platter and my favorite is the salad bar. We went to the brunch for the 1st time and it was soooo good. My husband gor the French toast and I got the biscuits and gravy!! We also got potato fries and they were the best I’ve ever had. Perfect crispy on the outside as soft on the inside!

In support of our knowledge of good seafood, we are native to St. Augustine and in years past, avid fishermen. We love fresh seafood and eat it quite often. We had not been to St. Mary’s Seafood in a while, so we decided to go there again with family in town. The broiled Mahi Mahi was dry, tasteless and not quite sure it was Mahi. It had a bit of a strong taste, unlike Mahi. Another dish at the table was salmon, and this too was dry and the fishy taste was stronger than a good salmon filet. The green beans were out of a can with little to no seasoning and the grits were runny, very watery. The hush puppies were good and crisp, and the fried mushrooms were great. There were no complaints on the fried St. Mary’s Platter, which consisted of shrimp, oysters, clams, a white fish and scallops. The server was great. She was knowledgeable, friendly, and quick with drink refills, which is why the rating is a 3 and not a 1 or 2. Not sure if the business has been sold or if there’s a new cook in the kitchen, but improvements certainly need to be made. The quality of food has certainly declined over the past several months. At any rate, we most likely will not go back with so many other great options here.

We I wanted to try this place for sometime now and we were just up The road at the outlets. The service was very good. My catfish was a little undercooked. My wife really liked the butterfly shrimp. They have some really good daily specials. We really like the great grits. Our total was just around $50 for two of us.

went to st.marys today & got some drinks . 1 was a Tito’s & cran . 1 was a Tito’s & redbull, but doesn’t break that down in the price .
the $20.98 is a double which is so shocking ! I can buy a bottle of Tito’s for that cost & will never drink here again ..
the oysters were very good & the salad bar was okay, but for $11.98 it was meh .
not sure of the cash cost, versues the credit card cost, being a $4 difference — that’s a big “convenience” fee .. either way.. don’t know that this will be a “go to spot”
