This isn’t about the food; it’s a Panara– you know what you are getting, but 5 stars goes to Sean for the most INCREDIBLE customer service. He welcomed me coming into the store with a big smile, walked around asking each table if they needed something — I saw him get 4 ladies glasses of water, removing used plates/bowls, grabbing napkins. Good people make a place, great job, Sean!

I can tell that the autumn squash soup should be really great, but it was served lukewarm, quickly turning into cold as I tried to eat it. Reported it to the staff. Nothing was done. Also the Apple was obviously very old tasted very Miele. I returned it and was given a bag of chips. Seven dollars is a lot to spend for a “bowl”of soup that amounts to little more than 8 ounces and cold at that! Panera’s has never returned to the quality level it had before Covid when I used to indulge at least weekly. Have yet to have a great experience in past three years! So very disappointed.☹️

The bagels are good but you would think this place is making an entire thanksgiving dinner with how long the drive thru line takes. I order one bagel and there’s times where I have to get out of line before paying with only 1 car infront of me. Ridiculous. Not sure how they are running things here. I assume there’s not good management.

How the mighty have fallen. Sandwich had zero taste. Avocado was like eating tofu. Bacon was see thru. Such a disappointment. If we didn’t have gift cards we would never have stopped.

I arrived at 5 pm and ordered soup and sandwich. I was informed they did not have bread. As in there was no French bread in the restaurant. The veggie sandwich that I ordered arrived on stale bread and my soup was luke warm. My family ordered other various items and each one of us was told they were out of random items. How does a bread company run out of bread at 5 pm before dinner service? Less than impressed and do not foresee my return anytime soon.

I met my daughter to have lunch during her work day. I ordered our food around noon, she arrived at 12:30 and we received our food at around12:50. Enough said. We’ll be choosing another restaurant. Sad, because we both prefer healthier choices, but her lunchtime is one hour.

Panera use to be my most favorite place to eat. I could’ve had 3 meals there every day.
Last Sunday i went to this store around 3:30 PM. The restaurant was not busy since it was off hour. We ordered a chicken sandwich with basil and tomato sauce which you barely was able to see the chicken in that huge bread sandwich, we also ordered a salad, don’t remember which salad but it was a whole lot of lettuce, 3 or 4 pieces of chicken, some walnuts and maybe drips of dressing. It was so tasteless that i had to bring it home to enjoy it with some dressing.
We also ordered two hot teas. The hot water was lukewarm, it was 3:30 PM but they should check and make sure everything is ready for guests. The young man who was working behind the counter making the sandwiches, every time i asked something, he would respond “ what?”, i finally couldn’t keep quiet and told him “ if you don’t understand something say excuse me not what”. He didn’t say anything and i m sure he will not change his attitude.
Hopefully, this was my last visit of Panera bread company.

This is one of the nicest Bread Co. in St Louis. The atmosphere is great and there’s plenty of room so you don’t feel claustrophobic. There are a lot of regulars at this location so there’s a friendly vibe. I highly recommend this Bread Co.

I usually have decent experiences at St. Louis Bread Company, but this visit was an odd one. First of all, they were completely out of the most common types of bread (no wheat, whole grain bread, etc.), which seems odd for a “Bread Company” Second, I placed an order on the phone app from the parking lot in front the restaurant, and when I walked in a few minutes later I received a text message saying that my order was ready. I also saw it show up on the order screen in the restaurant, and then it disappeared after a few minutes. Several other people came and went, and after about ten more minutes my order was finally ready for me to pick up. The place was not even remotely busy, so I’m not sure why they were out of bread or where the wires got crossed on the order itself. A strange experience.

Had to wait quite awhile for workers to finish their personal conversation to be waited on. 8:30 am and shelves were empty. Advertised item not available. Chocolate Croissant was hard like it was several days old. Tea took a long time, was told it was ready then had to wait another 5 minutes for it. Very negative experience at a chain I usually love!
