We decided to give st louis bread co. Another try after several attempts with either getting the wrong order and/or poorly made items. I went threw the drive threw for a on line pick up order. I ordered three sandwiches, the first bag I was given had two bagels in it.. I waited while they made my order. All three sandwiches had so much pepper on them they were ruined. This location is so inconsistent im done.

Order a sandwich and a soup for delivery . The driver didnt arrive at expected time , my delivery instructions says hand it to me and its was placed on the ground on melted snow and salt . And the order was entirely wrong . I was not offered a refund . This is very distasteful

I ordered a Bacon Turkey Bravo sandwich and was already disappointed that they switched cheeses…gouda is good!! Anyway, I ordered a BTB and a cup of broccoli cheddar, then my wife placed her order and we were dining in. This new system of taking care of door dash, online, or whatever orders first is unreasonable. And the staff wasn’t even moving with any sense of urgency. It was a Sunday around 1:30pm. It took roughly 15 minutes to get our food. When we did get it, I was once again disappointed. I did not order an U-Pick 2 and the cashier didn’t read back an UP2. Since she rang up an UP2, I kept it. My wife didn’t care either way about her sandwich, but her soup was not hot. She said it was barely warm, my soup was warm as well…definitely wasn’t hot. But I was already disappointed and just ate my food. It took my wife almost another 7 minutes to get her new soup. I’ve worked over a decade at Bread Co., and even was an assistant manager many years ago. I understand that menu items change with food trends and dietary concerns. But the quality of service, order accuracy, and food quality should never be compromised.

This location business hours list it closes at 9pm however when I visit after 8pm, the drive thru is always closed. Tonight my daughter drove up to drive thru at quarter till 8pm and was told to standby… and they will be with her. Yet no one returned to mic. My daughter waited over 40mins before she decided to go into cafe. She found very young workers relaxed and unproductive. Her order was taken and she asked for a manager and was told to wait again. She waited an additional 20mins before the lady manager presented herself. My daughter sensed she was having a day and decided to pray for her instead of complaining. I, however, chose to ask this location to do better with their service after 8pm! Post appropriate signs if drive through closes before cafe! No one asked her concern. No one!

My wife and I ate at the bread company today. We had never been to this one. We ordered and the workers were very accommodating and nice. My wife ordered a bacon, lettuce and tomato sandwich with chicken and avocados. When she received her order there were two of the tiniest slices of bacon. When you pay $8 for half a sandwich I think you would expect a little more. She’s not a complainer but did go back in to show them the amount of bacon on her half sandwich in which they gave her one more piece. Our sandwiches were good and the salads were okay. Staff was nice but $32 for half a sandwich with minimal toppings for two was a little much. Will go elsewhere. Photo attached.

I ordered two weeks ago two Mediterranean veggie whole sandwiches and I spend almost $15. Sandwiches have only cucumbers tomatoes onions and greens they forgot to put hummus and other ingredients or what but I didn’t pay only for bread and little veggies. Sandwiches taste horrible and I didn’t pay only for bread. I did survey and Shelby Sheron email me back and she ask me for my phone number so she can contact me but it’s been two weeks and I haven’t heard from Shelby at all. Very bad service if you are team manager you should take care customers complain and at least try to contact and resolve this issue. I attach sandwiches picture so everyone can see.

I went through the drive thru this evening and was very disappointed. Usually, the service is great and they have great attitudes. That was not the case today. When we got there, there were 3 cars in the drive thru (including us. The other 2 cars had already ordered. We sat there for a few minutes before saying hello, because no one said anything on the intercom. When we got Maddie, their cashier, she had an attitude with us because we had to split the order. She claimed they were backed up. Mind you, the lot is damn near empty, the inside is damn near empty, and the 2 cars HAD ALREADY ORDERED. So we had to wait to order, then wait to do our second order, and wait ten years for her to give the car in front of us their order. She had an attitude the ENTIRE time that she serviced us. We had to ask her to give us our receipts. We didn’t get our rewards. Of course when we looked at our receipts, the receipt number is partially gone so we had to play a guessing game to be able to enter them on the app. I can understand if it’s been a long day, but that’s not the customer’s fault. Do not work in hospitality type jobs if you don’t have any hospitality skills. Keep her in the chef area, she doesn’t need to work in the drive thru anymore. Food was good, but definitely overshadowed by your ignorant, attitude having staff.

Update – came here on Saturday for brunch, and it was rough. Drinks were not made until we asked them why they weren’t done yet. A lady who made an online order waited for over an hour for her drinks. Also got the size of our drink wrong. Didn’t have it remade coz we would have waited again…
Croutons on the greek salad were stale, and it took forever to get the rest of our food. Also placed an online order for a bagel pack, and after 30 minutes, we asked them why it wasn’t done yet, was just told they were out of bagels and we’d have to wait 40 more minutes. Had to ask them to cancel it instead. They could be more organized. They’re not understaffed, there were a lot of employees, but some were just standing around not doing anything.

They don’t always call out when your food is ready. We ordered smoothies, and we had to ask for them coz they didn’t include it with our food. The smoothies were already melted when we got them – they were done before the food, but didn’t call our names to pick them up.

This review is due to a cumulation of bad experiences at this location but today took the cake. I placed an order through the app for 2 bagels and an iced coffee, nothing that really has to be “made”.
I get there at the pickup time but the drive thru line was taking a long time so no worries I just went in to pick up. I go up to the counter (no one in front of me) and an associate, manager and I assume another associate, in a bonnet and slides, are talking amongst themselves, no one acknowledges that I’m at the counter.
I waited 8 minutes before the associate comes over to assist me. She was nice when she did but she informed me my order still wasn’t ready, (we’re abt 15 min past the pick up time) but she would have them make it. It still took them another 6-7min for them to slice and toast my 2 bagels. This location is the most unprofessional, unorganized Panera and it blew my mind that the manager allowed the lady with the bonnet and slides to remain behind the counter, idk if she was making herself food or assisting with orders but it was unprofessional and a safety concern from a work perspective. Please, do better.
