The hot bar was delicious but was cold . Got there 2 hrs before close maybe why salad bar had no lettuce. Service was very good. Let us take home the dessert and what we couldn’t eat on our plate. One trip Tru but big heaping food. Great price for all you get. I recommend you come and try!

Only asked if we were good one time while dining. Never asked if we wanted more to drink. Food was excellent. Maybe work on your waitress skills and I would have gave a 5 star review

This is no longer St. Joe Cafe. The food was decent but nothing to write home about. Service was slow. And the atmosphere is just blah. Literally nothing to look at but the windows.
Prices were expensive.

The cafe has that hometown feel, the food is delicious, and you could not ask for better service. It’s my favorite spot for breakfast. Highly recommend the western omelet and also the cinnamon roll pancake!

Cramped. Hot bar food was cold. Waitress was behind the counter on her phone while everyone else sat in the kitchen and gossiped loud enough for the small sitting room to hear. This place is the perfect example of how this country doesn’t value hard work anymore.

Just plain great food. Great selection. And the staff are the friendliest around. Time it right and you can eat from the buffet, 1 meat and two sides or similar combinations for a great price. Even an all you can eat option. Highly recommend.

Most definitely a hometown vibe possibly family owned & operated: very friendly staff. They know their sweet tea, very southern style, if you know what I mean.
Freshly cooked to each order’s specifications. They do have a salad bar, and a buffet I’m not sure if it was just lunch or for dinner too.
My apologies I forgot to take pictures: I had the baked potato which is not rolled in bacon grease like some restaurants do (That was a blessing) with grilled chicken. It was good though I have to say I don’t think I’ve ever had lettuce and tomato on a baked potato. It put a different spin on it. My husband got a cheeseburger and he said it was delicious.

Our little romantic hideaway. We drive about 30 miles on old dirt roads from Lexington, Alabama to this restaurant. We can eat on the patio with our dog, Buck and just enjoy each other. Great food and a very sweet and interactive Christian family. They feed the needy in the community through donations made by their customers. If you are offended by being called “Darling”, this ain’t your place. But as for my wife and I, we love this restaurant!

I went to this place on March 30 I was at Lexington spending the night with one of my family members and let me tell you this, this place is good if it wasn’t for the 4 fans in the room area I was in! The food is great but it was SOOOO COLD IN THERE!!! I had shorts because I didn’t know I was going to come in that place! So maybe turn off the fans.
