This was my first time dining at St. James. We started with fresh oysters on ice, served simply with lemon and hot sauce. They were clean, briny, and incredibly fresh. You could tell right away that quality matters here. It was a great way to start the evening and made a strong first impression. I had the steak and it was cooked perfectly, tender and full of flavor, paired with creamy mashed potatoes and beautifully roasted broccolini. Cindy, our server, truly made the night. She was attentive and professional. She handled our group with ease, kept the timing just right. I was beyond impressed. Great atmosphere, exceptional food, and outstanding service from Cindy. St. James is a fantastic spot in Thomasville for a work dinner or special night out. I’m already looking forward to going back.

Simply the gold standard of restaurants in the South Georgia/North Florida region. Beautiful restaurant that perfectly balances high end food with all the best charm and warmth of the South. The menu is constantly changing with the core staples remaining. Everything is wood fired and served perfectly. The ownership and staff are beyond wonderful. This is a destination stop. Can’t recommend it enough.

St. James was overall a good experience with a beautiful interior and outdoor seating. There was a short wait to be greeted and the back room where we were seated was extremely cold. Our server was very kind and somehow it was the best Diet Coke I’ve ever had at a restaurant.

For starters, we tried the deviled eggs (a noticeable pickle-juice flavor in the filling which might not be for everyone), calamari (borderline flavorful/salty batter), and sticky ribs (a bit overhyped and fairly average compared to reviews).

For the main dishes, we ordered the filet, which was incredible and very tender, and the wagyu burger, which was excellent, almost like a real-life Krabby Patty. The fries were also very good. Our only issue was the wait time, as our plates took about 45 minutes to arrive and tables seated after us were served before we were.

One note on the atmosphere, the tables are very close together and being the only people of color there at the time, we did feel a bit out of place and slightly uncomfortable.

Great food and service overall, with some room to improve on timing and comfort.

Amazing!
This is the second time my mom and I enjoyed an evening here. Cindy our waitress, we have had the pleasure of having her both visits. She is sure to please, any questions; drink recommendations, oyster break downs. Very informative. Very personable, we love her.
The atmosphere is inviting and unique. The oysters are a must have, followed by a drink (lemon drop martini) my moms new favorite , the main course delish (I had the pork chop and mom had the chicken) and to top it off with their famous bread pudding.

I highly recommend!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I absolutely love the food and the staff here, but the sound volume is unbearable… It’s such a shame, this would be my favorite place to eat and hang out in Thomasville. I just went for the second time had a great meal!.. but unfortunately I will not return because of the noise level, there are drunk people just screaming over the top of each other to be heard, I feel sorry for the staff they must go home with ringing ears, Please, please, please, put some soundproofing in the ceiling.

The place was packed, which is always good. Being packed meant the place was a little on the loud side. But the food is consistently good, especially the pizzas. The duck and fig pizza was great and the Brussels sprouts appetizer was delicious and just the right size. Looking forward to going back.

I have eaten here several times, and every single time has been incredible. Most recently, we had Kelly as our server, and she was absolutely fabulous. You can tell she loves interacting with people. She made our dining experience very enjoyable. I have tried several things on the menu, and I am always ecstatic with what I order. The service is top-tier, and the atmosphere is great! I do recommend making reservations as they are usually busy! Some of our faves are the mushroom pizza, the burger, milk buns, deviled eggs, and the pork chops!! You seriously can’t go wrong!

Absolutely love this restaurant. This place is hand down a gem. The menu that Adam and Bethany have created is utterly delicious and crave-able. My favorite dish is the Triple Tail. I know there are two different steaks, pizza options, and a raw bar (which are on their own impeccable); however this triple tail dish has my taste buds in a vex. The cocktails that are crafted here are second to none and the wine list is extensive and accommodating for all different palates and prices. My wife and I love when we get to have Kelly as our waitress. She is so sweet, knowledgeable and polite! If you’ve ever wondered if you should try this restaurant out, just do yourself a favor and go. You won’t regret it.

Key Items to try:
Rye Old Fashion
Rock Shrimp appetizer
Korean Wing appetizer
Brussels Salad
Triple Tail entree
Bread Pudding dessert
