ST DISHONORÉ: Everything served in to-go containers, even for dining in, ostensibly due to short staffing.
Both coolers were dripping with condensation meaning the food inside is likely rotting.
The place is falling apart.
All this ambience, plus two petite quiches — possibly with salmonella — and two iced teas for the low, low price of $40.
C’est la vie.

The heart of First Addition! St. Honoré brings that authentic French village feel to Lake Oswego. As a local realtor, I love showing off this neighborhood’s walkability—especially with the new The Oswego Cottages just around the corner. Perfect coffee, perfect pastries, and the perfect location.

This review was from this summer but I accidentally left it for La provance (who are amazing.) and just realized it. ♀️
Usually the iced coffee here is decent but I’m disappointed in my coffee and experience today. He made my coffee hot, I told him it was meant to be iced. He didn’t make eye contact with me, just turned around to remake it and might as well have rolled his eyes. He proceeded to pour the hot coffee into a cup with ice. Within a minute of leaving, alllll of the ice had already dissolved. I walked back to ask to have it remade, and before I even walked up to the line, a very lovely girl with a lighter colored hair ponytail (she had a pink scrunchy) who was holding not one but two or three stacked dish trays walked right up to me to ask me if she could help me. You know — real, aware, present customer service. She proceeded to remake the coffee for me herself after dropping the dishes off, was very kind the entire time. Not snotty and entitled like the other guy. Appreciated her and this coffee tasted SO much better. The other one was Luke warm and also tasted like the bitterness of the guy who made it.

There are many repairs necessary to the paint, upholstery, and cleaning to give this a higher rating. Love love love the food and the staff is always helpful. But bench upholstery has large rips and cannot be cleaned due to that. The tiled floors in the customer area and the whole public area seems to need a deep stream cleaning.
Please repair and clean this restaurant with the fabulous food and killer location in Lake Oswego.

I will definitely come back. The atmosphere is calm and friendly, a large selection of sandwiches, desserts and drinks. Beautiful interior in Parisian style

Did a catering order here for multiple different types of pastries for a business event I was hosting and everyone loved them. I did 3 types of croissants and fruit tarts. The catering team was so kind to include some freebies for my team to try for next time too if we choose them again. Customer service was great. I will be using them again for future events. Also this location looks awesome inside and there’s so many things to try! Highly recommend.

I went back to this bakery after 2 years and was really disappointed at the food and service. I ordered a coffee and almond friand. The coffee was not strong and too diluted. I felt like I was drinking watery milk. The almond friand was stale and old.
The waitress was rude and charged me for an extra espresso shot at 3.5$ instead of 1.5$ and forgot to give me my friand twice after reminders.
This was one of the first places I ever came to when I came to the USA. At that time I was broke and had no money for food, but for two years I’ve been waiting to come here and the experience truly sucked. It totally wasn’t worth the wait. The only thing good about it is the location.

I stopped in for the first time for a bowl of French onion soup. It was before 12:30 pm and they were OUT of French onion soup. The selection in the case was underwhelming – they could learn a lot from La Provence. It’s a beautiful sunny day and the windows were so dirty you could hardly see out. The dining area was unviting, untidy, and basic. I will not be going back.

Fantastic bakery. Very authentic in that they unapologetically run out of half their menu, but it is what it is.

So far, I’ve been to two of their Portland locations, and the Lake Oswego location is still my favorite. This location has outdoor seating, but the few times I’ve been there, it’s too breezy or cold out. Speaking of outdoor seating, its prob’ly best for the ppl w/crutches or wheelchairs to know what they want and tell a person in their party to order it for them because its a tight fit inside, although there are a few tables that can accommodate a party of 4…definitely makes u feel like you’re at a Parisian bistro. There is both street parking as well as paid and free covered, or garaged, parking, especially for the tenants around there. As for the food, my main reason for going there were the pastries and o! I wish I could remember the name of the treats I had, but as for a description, the top left was like a cream puff w a candied top–yummmmm! Can’t really remember the bottom left and the bottom right was a bread pudding-type dessert w a fruit top–I think it was a pear…. or was it an apple…? Either way, I didn’t eat the fruit part because that’s too healthy, but I did devour the rest of it!!
