We always love visiting St. George’s when in Springfield! Such a great array of donuts and they have specialty-made coffees by Mudhouse! The service is great and these are some of the best donuts you’ll have. Check them out!

I normally love this place, so I decided to order a number donut for my daughter’s birthday. As soon as I opened it, I was disappointed. Ordered colored sprinkles, assuming they’d be colorful regular sprinkles since they’re on a birthday number donut, but instead they were fall themed. The donut itself is overcooked and did not taste good at all. It looked old when I picked it up, and no one at the party tried it because of how it looked. I don’t recommend the birthday number donut.

I have also noticed a decline in service over the last year. The people running the front counter are awkward to interact with and rude sometimes.

They charge nearly 7 dollars more for a half dozen donuts in store than to order online and pick up, which is really dishonest and confusing, especially if it is your first time there. I went to buy in store since I was unable to order online on Valentines day, and the woman at the front counter was unneccesarily rude and indignant, telling me they “dont sell donuts by the box”. The woman, thinking I had left the store, went to the back to very loudly complain about me for whatever reason. For a business that claims to have been in their community for 50 years, they seem to really have a chip on their shoulder for anyone in “their community” that comes in. I went to Hurts and got equally as delicious donuts for a much better deal and kinder customer service.

Great cake and yeast donuts! Best in Springfield! They serve drip Mudhouse coffee which is great, too, though they need to make sure it stays hot. Mine was lukewarm out of the carafe.

Such a cute spot. The place was clean and welcoming. Staff was friendly. Most of the donut options looked kinda old (dry) and $2 for a donut is a bit high. Hence the – star. Other than that it was a great place and my donut was pretty good!

Every single time I go here they don’t have any donuts to sell that I want. It doesn’t matter to seem what time I show up either. I went in for the 3rd time in a row to try to get either a pinecone or a glazed donut and they are out every single time. If they know they sell so much why wont they make more?

I popped in to grab 3 dozen donuts for a last minute birthday party..and they were FANTASTIC! I was unsure what kind besides my favorite plain ole glazed so 2 dozen glazed and she picked the rest and did GREAT was a huge hit! Thank you!

Lee’s Donuts are amazing. Always fresh and wonderful. They have cartons of milk that remind me of my childhood for sale. A five-star across the board.
