We called into St. George’s Tavern for drink(s) & had a blast. Our Bartender Heather made our first visit to St. George’s Tavern a very memorable & fabulous one. They were not at all “stingy” with their pours.
One could easily tell this is right in the heart of the tourist area & had plenty of locals & regulars on this visit. We had a great time hanging out & sharing stories with the staff & locals. The locals also treated us very well.
When going to St. Augustine, please stop in & say Hello to Heather & the rest of the staff. All made us feel very welcome & happy. They even let me place my “REX~LIVING A DREAM” sticker on their cooler for the world to see.
We bought a couple shirts & some other swag. We had a great time in St. Augustine this past visit & this definitely was the highlight of the tour. We will be back for sure.

It’s gives modern tavern dive in the best way possible. Drinks are cheap, bartenders banter with the regulars in a fun way that a tourist who loves dive bars (such as myself) enjoys. Service was quick and kind.

Went twice the other day, first bartender just looked so sad to be there, i ordered a round of shots and asked for my bill as we were just checking the place out, He made the shots incorrectly so I gave one away to a random customer and he told me I ordered wrong. I just agreed paid and tipped $20. Just figured he was having a bad night, i get it.
Came in later ordered 2 shots, 2 beers & a water. Paid the bill tipped $21 in cash, the bartender rang a bell and said thank you. Anyways as i was leaving i asked for more water in my cup to take with me back to my hotel, he grabbed a dirty pitcher filled it with water and sat it in-front of me. Honestly i was shocked & so was the person who sat next to me that was just doing shots with the same bartender. I just wanted a water refill…

Pretty cool little bar. We went in for a couple of drinks just because it’s the Oldest Pub in the Oldest City. They do have a couple of booth seats and seating at the bar. Not a large bar but still had a good time.

A local INSTITUTION! One of the best people watching bars downtown. Their lunch menu is filled with slam dunks — burgers, sandwiches, and yummy sides, too. Generous pours and a classic dimly lit dive bar atmosphere.

Awesome local style dive bar. Stop for a beer and quick lunch. Very reasonable prices and our roast beef wrap and club sandwich was . For side I recommend the pasta salad, it’s one of the best I have had. Club leftover is the pick.

I came here for late night drinks. Tim and Joshue were awesome bartenders. Immediately make you feel at home and make some great drinks. Music was also great. Quintessential dive bar would absolutely come back
