So good! Breakfast and dinner was here all week. Get the schnitzel! It’s a huge portion. For breakfast, the tall Brazilian waitress is funny and awesome.

Located within the Inn at Solitude, St. Bernard’s is the main restaurant to dine at in this hotel. The breakfast buffet each time we visited was solid, and our dinner experiences at the restaurant were cozy and fantastic. The service our whole stay during breakfast and dinner was outstanding. We loved the library area of the restaurant, it is a great spot to hang out at after a long day of skiing. We highly recommend this place!

If you’re going to stay here at the Solitude Resort, you must come and dine at St Bernards! Located just inside the Solitude Inn, this place was our top rated dining spot in the entire Village! Every item that we ordered, was incredible. All 3 of us were in agreement of how we felt about this place… and our meals. The environment is very nice but not pompous, a wonderful fireplace burning, a lively bar, a quiet “library bar” off to the side, and very high ceilings with awesome light penetrating in all rooms. Our servers were very friendly and accommodating, while wearing large smiles with every visit to our table. And those portion sizes..lots of leftovers walked back with us to our room. What a wonderful experience and pleasant surprise to finish our perfect day skiing here at Solitude!

This is our third yr coming up to solitude staycation for Christmas. We always eat at least one dinner or 2 here and this yr Christmas Eve menu was the most amazing we have ever had, though it was $100/ person pre-set, the other days are not, but you get a buffet and main course and dessert. (You may need to call ahead to find out what the menu entails for this holidays) Had the lobster bisque and it’s the second best place I’ve had in 25 years. Way too many restaurants puree the lobster and it’s ashamed! Because you want to taste the chunks of lobster and this place did NOT disappoint! Lobster bisque was creamy with loads of chunks of claws and lobster meats.I also had roasted salmon and loved the flavor with a touch of charred crispy bits and salmon was perfect temperature and not over/under cooked. Really enjoyed it here. Wished they would have crème brûlée, the chocolate torte was way too sweet and Rich. This yrs apple pie and ice cream was our favorite – in yrs past the apple pie was cold and and not well made but this yrs menu items was perfect aside from the chocolate torte- not my favorite. Way too dense and rich.

Bernards has a great atmosphere for a quiet upscale dinner. It is an intimate dining experience. The lamb won the ordering competition for best meal!

We came for the breakfast buffet on Father’s Day, just before the brew festival. The service was good overall, but the food wasn’t. You can’t really mess up waffles (typically) but they just seemed dry like they had been sitting for a while. Same with the biscuits and gravy —> gravy was hot but the biscuit was dry like it had been cooked 4 hrs prior. These were the “specials”. At $25 per person, I had higher hopes. Next time we will stop at a restaurant before coming to Solitude.

Went there for Thanksgiving. The turkey was moist and tasteful. Shout out to the chef. I’m surprised more people don’t know about their Thanksgiving lunch
