St. Andrew’s is a sports bar located in State Center, Iowa. Great place for families and gatherings, or a nice spot to grab a cold beer. We offer quite the variety on our menu from Salads & Wraps to a quality cut of steak sourced from our local locker right across the street. Almost everything we have is made from scratch and everything is cooked to order.

Good eats. Pleasant surprise in a small town. We had the Porker and the Burger Wrap. Both were delish. They had a special dessert, Funnel Cake Fries with Choco peanut butter sauce. Yum! Service was good. She thought of the details. We would return again when in the area.

Fried pickle spears for starter. Loved the breading. I had the spicy burger and wife had a wrap. All was really good. Really enjoyed the fries too. Had a few beers-nice and cold. Finished the meal with a piece of chocolate cake which was really good too. Staff was friendly and attentive. A couple things that did catch me off guard, but, not a big deal were being charged extra for ranch for my fries. Another was that the cake, although really good, was bought and not locally or hand made. They have a really great menu with well priced variety and a lot of choices of both alcoholic and n/a drinks. Overall a great experience and we will definitely come back.

We stopped in here for lunch with a large group. They have a very small staff (2, maybe 3 employees). They were friendly an very organized as they took out orders a few at a time and worked quickly to prepare our meals. I had a grilled pork tenderloin sandwich and onion rings. The tenderloin was very good. It was prepared about an inch thick, not hammered to hubcap size. Onions rings were the beer batter style.

My cheeseburger wrap was delicious!! I will definitely get it again. My husband got the tenderloin and mashed potatoes and gravy and all was very good. Everyone was very helpful and friendly.

A friend and I needed a quick bite to eat and St Andrew’s was both quick and yummy. The restaurant was busy and the waitress was working hard to keep up.

Food was wonderful. 4:30pm just my husband and I and people at two other tables. Waitress seemed to be in a hurry to move us out and the busboy was in a hurry to clean the table. We were not demanding and left a good tip. Would understand if there was a line waiting to come in but there was atleast 15+ tables open.
