I don’t regret trying it, but not worth returning.

Meal came out to $25 pre tip which is steep for a diner.

Bacon was sad, sausage was school cafeteria quality. Pancakes were spongy, not light and fluffy.

Ordered my eggs over easy, and they were over medium.

Above average diner coffee.

Service was great and fast.
Atmosphere was quaint and exactly what you would expect from a long standing local diner.

Nice little diner to get brunch. They serve breakfast all day. Pancakes are filling and the home fries are cooked perfect and amazing. The toast is nicely buttered. The staff is very friendly and they make you feel like your at home. Definitely worth stopping in to eat

As a native New Yorker, I am always eager to try local, small businesses here in Vermont. This place is the first where I have been thoroughly disappointed. The staff is nice, offering you Vermont syrup with your meal, or even bringing it along with your food and having to take it back (since literally everything is an up charge) but hey! maybe that’s the norm here. Aside from that I got chocolate pancakes..not sure how a diner could mess that up, they were mediocre at best and had mini chocolate chips on one side of the pancake. French toast was pretty solid, home fries weren’t terrible, and sausage patties were the standard frozen ones from the freezer section at any grocery store. Looked at the check and laughed at the fact that a side of bacon (4 strips) was nearly $10. The portions are very large and I think the prices are reasonable for entrees. You will have to pay a fee of .25 per takeaway container (which was extremely odd). Staff needs to clarify the million fees they charge. I’m all for supporting small businesses instead of large chains but I think this place gets business purely because the people of this state do not know any better..If you’re thinking about stopping here, just make food at home, you’ll thank me later!

I will say this place was the worst dinner I have been to in a very long time. Dirty after we were sat we thought about leaving but did not want to be rude. So we ordered are eggs were overcooked the veggies were raw (mine were raw onions) and I actually feel sick now. I’m sorry I hate to leave a bad review but the cook needs to be held accountable.

I’ve been here now three times. Each time, I’ve ask for sometime, such an extra plate, or a box to go, it’s “I have to charge you for that” and today, they made the wrong chicken wrap with grilled chicken. I asked them to remake it, and they flat told me they’d charge me to remake my food. Absolutely ridiculous!! Ive been in the restaurant industry for 16 years, never have I ever been told they’d charge me for a whole new sandwich!! Never coming back.

The food was exceptional. It is rare to find potatoes cooked just right when going out for breakfast. These were perfect. We had the eggs Benedict special. It was so good to be worth a trip to Saint Albans to have it again.

Burger taste like propane and chemicals. Took 2 bites of the burger. Told the waitress about the taste. No apology not solution and then charged me for it!!! I didn’t even eat it! DO NOT recommend especially if your hungry. The bathroom stinks like urine too. So there’s that.

Everything was acceptable at the diner. I was pretty disappointed to be charged $4 for extra sauce for my gyro. That just seems wrong, and I may stay away from the Saint Albans diner for a while.

This is an American diner, just like every other diner. Older style furnishing and parking for bikers. It’s the kind of small town feel where every old waitress calls you honey and i felt right at home.

Watched wait staff leave unused silverware and placemats on table after people have had their meal. Just seems gross even if they didn’t use them the were exposed to food and germs
