Over the summer we inquired about vendors for our wedding because we wanted a food truck. We ended up sampling and buying S and S during a carnival over the summer. We talked to the owner about the details and she seemed honored and thrilled to be asked to do our wedding. We went over details and agreed closer to the date we would reach out about a deposit and get the final details out because the wedding was a year away. Now we are closer to our date we have sent a few emails, messages on Facebook and have left messages with staff ant the cafe and set up a time to come and get the details in order but have gotten no response.
We are completely disappointed because now we have to on short notice find a vendor who could do our wedding within the budget we had planned. I think it’s unprofessional to say you would do something and then when a customer reaches out you never answer especially when it’s a wedding.
If you planning on catering or anything with this cafe please be aware that you may get the cold shoulder when the event gets closer.

We finally got a response back on Facebook messenger. We were told that they would do our wedding, but unfortunately, they have a fair that day that would take precedence, and there was no guarantees that they would be able to do it. How do you tell a groom and bride that there is a 50-50 chance the food may not show up? On so many levels the response and disrespect we got was unacceptable. We had plans for this vendor to come to our wedding for a while now. They are the ones who did not answer emails, Facebook messages and we called the store multiple times in order to get the final counts made like they asked us to do. They’re the ones that told us if you could not get a hold of us right away just be patient because we are busy. As we know planning a wedding is not an easy task and can be extremely stressful and now we have to come up with a plan B on such short notice.
I hope people take a second thought before catering or buying from this business. It seems like they have forgotten their roots that customers are the ones who got you this far. But if you’re going to treat them like crap, even with good food, no one‘s gonna wanna come to your establishment.

Tried to go over to Unadilla diner and bakery and it was 1.5hr wait. Drove 8 minutes up the road and glad I did. Instant breakfast fresh waffles and potatoes. Hot coffee and actual whole milk.

It was our first time to S&S Cafe. Right off the bat we were greeted with a smiling face and friendly attitude. The cornbeef hash was fantastic! Give this place a try. Nice family atmosphere, very welcoming and great breakfast.
