Happy traveller
Had vada and puri. It was extremely fresh. The chutney was tasteful and the service was great i went after 11 on saturday norningbbot that much of rush and the place very clean also. Further it reminded of a cafe in chennai or banglore.
It is self service tho which make it easier. Also it has great snack options . Looking forward to try the other stuff. If you crave south indian breakfast this should be your go to place

Even with a mix of opinions overall, the food quality and authentic South Indian flavors make Sri Ganesh Dosa House stand out — especially if you’re craving crispy dosas, well-spiced chutneys, and hearty vegetarian tiffins. For taste lovers of this cuisine, it’s easy to justify a 5/5 taste review ️

The rava onion chilli dosa and Karampodi ghee masala dosa were both excellent. The sambar vada, however, was only average. My main point of contention is the chutney situation: we were charged an additional $2 for requesting peanut chutney instead of the standard coconut chutney. It was annoying to be charged extra for a simple substitution, especially since a peanut chutney would have been a superior accompaniment.

The house special dosa was good but they definitely use frozen vegetables and doesn’t taste fresh. Place is also not that clean and is very run down and not well kept. Dosa tasted good though overall with chutney and sambar.

If amazing food is what you’re looking for, this is the spot. Everything else is not so good. Service is slow and self-serve mostly. Ambiance is noisy.

We got 4 different dosas and all were good. The fresh Khaman was the best though and I would come back just for this over and over again

Improve on space management. It seems like typical dosa joint in India.

The place is really crowded all the time, seating can be difficult to find. Food was good, chutney and sambar are given out as per customers requirements. Staff is friendly and nice but since the place is busy felt the staff was not that organized.

Overrated place. I do not know why this place is popular at all. I ordered a dosa and I was served the chutney in a small cup used for hot sauce in Mexican restaurants. How many times do I have to go for a refill? It is a tiny restaurant with breakfast foods but their prices are a bit high. They charge as much as big restaurants and yet food is served in disposable styrofoam plates. How can you eat hot steaming upma or idly in styrofoam plates. The ambience isn’t any appealing either.

I have allergies with coconut chutney they offered my meal onion dosa coconut chutney, I asked them peanut chutney and explained about my allergies but they are saying that we can provide peanut chutney for extra cost, I am not sure why they are behave like this to get profits. I have serve safe and food production license as well. Worst service. I have ever had this experience with this restaurant

Whenever I visit Indian Street in New Jersey, this place is a must-try for me. I absolutely love the food here, especially the Indian tiffins—they make me feel like I’m back home in India. This place is just fire! The food is incredible, and I especially love the chutney and the sambar, which is always served hot and tastes amazing.

I’ve been coming here for 10 years, ever since I moved to the United States, and this place has never disappointed me. Ganesh Dosa House is one of my favorite spots in the country. The people here feel like family—they always treat everyone with respect, and the love they show is truly incredible. This place is an absolute must-try and 100% worth it!
