Sra Bua Thai is great! They took over a former Thai restaurant in this same location, but made some upgrades to the interior and changed the menu a little bit, but kept some of the original recipes.
The inside is bright, modern, and cheery. The menu has something for everyone, including a variety of appetizers and drinks. Service was very friendly and attentive – the person serving us was very open to feedback (of which we had none).
We tried the wings and the pork/shrimp “donuts” to start. The wings were perfectly crisp but the meat was fall off the bone tender and juicy. The donuts were a fun and interesting way to start the meal – good flavor and texture. The lychee lemonade was sweet and refreshing.
We also had the pad Thai and the basil eggplant dish. Both were really delicious and generous sized portions. We felt the spice level was right (we asked for 3 out of 5). The vegetables in the eggplant dish were cooked perfectly – not over cooked or drenched in oil. The pad Thai was great – not too sweet.
There is a lunch special that we will definitely be returning for. A great addition to the neighborhood!

I did not dine in, ordered for delivery, so couldn’t rate the atmosphere and the service. The food was still nice and hot. Great packaging and presentation. A lot of food – good portion. I ordered 3 stars for all my dishes. It tasted more like 1.5 stars. The ancient pad Thai can use more tamarind flavoring in their sauce. And the salad would probably be better in restaurant to get the salad tossed in the sauce. Overall great place.

Excellent spot! Chef owned, extremely cute and creative interior, very nice people. We ordered four dishes, all were sooo good, and they have my favorite super extra wide noodles. I feel people might be missing out by ordering takeout, only because the service is so great and the interior is so cozy. Takeout is delicious too but if you can eat in, do it!

Huge menu with interesting choices that I haven’t seen elsewhere. Excellent pad Thai with 6 plump prawns. Not too sweet. Friendly service and a lovely ambiance that would be especially nice for a date night. They are in the old Lake Thai Restaurant space. I look forward to eating my way through the menu. I’m going back for my second visit in a week!

While in town for work, we were in the area and stopped by for an early dinner. We Had the Pad See Ew, Basil Fried Rice and crispy egg rolls. All delicious. Charming ambience as well. Thank you all for the great meal and service. When we’re back in the area, we will definitely return.

The crispy garlic chicken is just as I remember it from when it was Lake Thai! We also ordered the Seafood Combo which was very delicious. So glad to have the best Thai food close by again. Looking forward to trying out the rest of the menu!
