I came specifically for the combination dishes. The Mar Y Tierra Fries were really good, nice portion size with tender meat and juicy shrimp. It’s an absolute feast and a great appetizer or main dish!
I also grabbed a couple of tacos: the Mar y Tierra taco and the famous Quesabirria taco. Both were excellent, offering that rich, authentic taste you crave. The Quesabirria, in particular, was savory and cheesy, just as it should be.
The food quality here is definitely a 4 star caliber, but be prepared for a bit of a wait, especially during peak hours, as this place is popular and seating can be limited. Overall, for the sheer deliciousness of the Mar y Tierra options and the Quesabirria, it earns a very solid four stars. Highly recommend you check them out!
The michelada was good but i personally did not like sweet sugary Chamoy with my beer. The talapia a la plancha came out rubbery and like the white rice, they both lacked flavor.
My bloodhound partner ordered a cheese quesadilla. She asked for no sour cream and they still brought it. She ordered a side of pico de gallo and it came in a 1 oz pkastic container. She was greatly disappointed with the portions since, surprisingly, there was an extra charge for that side request. My other companion like the carne asada tacos. We all loved the Avocado roll Sushi. This location offers drive thru service.
The waitress was super attentive.
Overall, for a Mexican seafood joint, it was overpriced for the quality of food you order. If we come back, it will only be for the Sushi.
Food we order fry tilapia which was perfectly cooked, crunchy outside and tender inside, a mix tostada which had a real marisco flavor not just lemon, my asada huarache was topped with Mayonnaise which looked pretty but that flavor did not go with my dish, it will give it the same fancy effect if you substitute for sour cream and it will taste a lot better.
The service was polite, quick and friendly but to get a 5 star a little simple personable conversation like asking how our day was or being there for the 1st time asking us how we found out about the place would of started a nice pleasant conversation.
Atmosphere is what expected music, and very clean, organized place.
We will definitely come back and recommend it
