They just moved into a new building because they outgrew their old location. I had Llevos Rancheros, which was very good. The chili was excellent. Coffee was ok (I’m very picky about my coffee). The refried beans were ok but not great. They have their own parking lot and there was a parking lot guide person : I’m not sure if this is normal. Pricing was very reasonable.
Overall, it’s a good place to try out.

While the prices and customer service were good, the cleanliness left a lot to be desired. The dining area was noticeably messy, and the most concerning issue was the lack of proper hygiene among staff and management. I observed the owner come out of the kitchen and grab food from the buffet with his bare hands before proceeding to serve our drinks. Additionally, the waitress was cleaning the floor and then reached into the ice bin for tea without washing her hands. Unfortunately, these incidents made the experience very uncomfortable, and I do not plan to return.

I’ve been going to benjos for about 20 years , every year keeps getting better.delicious food,great service,good prices what I really don’t like is the parking attendant most of the time he’s lazy sometimes he doesn’t even assist you and he’s asking for a tip I think people can park on their own I haven’t seen a restaurant with a parking attendant other than that this is a great restaurant to visit in central El Paso go Bowie bears!!

This is an interesting little hideaway mini buffet or menu option restaurant for anyone interested in trying food flavors from Juarez, Mexico combined with good old El Paso, Texas food favorites. Cute mini shrimp cocktails with homemade cakes and pastries available! The owner is friendly and very hospitable.

Their food is of the chain, mi gente! As ya’ll already know, I’m very critical about my beans. Well Sr. Benjos’ beans are on point! Just like my mommy’s, delicious
I had their breakfast special, my son had the chilaquiles with an egg on top and two Horchata waters which were also Yummy-licious! Some may say their plates are small, but it was just right for me! I also ordered Menudo and Gorditas to go and my peeps also were very satisfied with the quality of the food and how fresh a delicious it tasted. I highly recommend this restaurant to all the locals but especially those who visit us from out of town! This place has great food at incredible prices! I do have to say that their patrons are a bit rough and look at you up and down, but that’s typical Chuco attitude of always being “trucha”. I will definitely be back and I am making it one of my favorite restaurants in town.
