BBQ was yummy and service was great. Really liked some of the sides, but not impressed with others. Try the potato salad and the smoked cabbage, mmm. 🙂 Great Place to stop if you’re traveling with Fido.

I’m a local, and this is my first time eating here. Most of the newer BBQ restaurants in the area don’t impress me much, but this one was really good. The meat was moist (not greasy) and had the right amount of smoke in it. They give pretty generous portions of meat and sides too. Also, the gals working here were friendly and welcoming. I’ll definitely come back again!

I first had their Q at the old truck location in Weaverville a couple of years ago, and loved it. At the old location, it was just sandwiches and chips, but I remembered the pork being fantastic. I was excited to see they’d moved just up the road from us, in Black Mtn., so we had to give it another try.
It’s just how I remembered it, which is to say some of the best pulled pork in town! Just a great flavor and not too fatty. The menu is not too big, but they have all the regular sides now, other meat options, a kid’s menu, etc. All the standards. I had the hush puppies and green beans, which were great compliments to the pulled pork. My wife wasn’t huge on the potato salad, but that’s not my thing, so I can’t comment. The mac n cheese made the kid happy.
They now have some indoor seating, which is nice as well. Neat little place inside. We’ll be back!

This is a very good bbq spot. The pork was tender and moist and their beans are top notch. The owner Melissa came over and spoke to us, very sweet people.
She gave me a rib to try and offered my mom some more Brunswick stew. Highly recommend

Excellent excellent excellent food was great service very personal and friendly. Best BBQ I had the 1/2 chicken smoked cabbage and Mac and cheese. Husband had combination platter with ribs and pulled pork. Everything perfectly prepared from scratch. Doubt you could find better! Can’t miss this one!
