This restaurant is conveniently located on the main square in downtown. We found street parking quickly right near their entrance, parking was free. We were immediately greeted upon entry and seated. The decor is modern rustic, nicely done. The dining room and washroom were spotless clean. Our waiter was prompt, courteous, and had perfect timing. I ordered the Hall of Famer barbecue sandwich, it was fantastic. Everyone enjoyed their meals completely. Their list of beers on tap is very comprehensive. Without question we will be returning when we are in the area.

Our first visit to Square Roots was very good. The vibe is relaxed and updated casual. The burger I had was ok, but the real star was the Oktoberfest special with 3 different sausages and honestly the best home made. The dipping cheese sauce was very good too. The service was on point and our waitress was excellent I highly recommend Square Roots in downtown Crown Point, Indiana

The 2nd to Naan sandwich is exactly that! I looooveee this sandwich! You can’t go wrong with a night here and ANY of the drinks on the menu. Love the bartender Ashley, she’s a gem!

Nice place. Alan was a fantastic server, friendly, timed everything quite nicely.

I had deep roots burger & fries. Really good burger. I am not a FF person but truly enjoyed these.

My fellow diner had the classic burger which he said was a “darn good burger”.

2 preferences: coke products but their Pepsi.
Their pickles are sweet & spicy. A nice option but I am a fan of a good dill on a burger.

Definitely worth a visit. Portions a little light for the price but presentation was great. Food was poorly seasoned this trip …not typical but well prepared otherwise. Give it a try.

Very cute place for drinks and good food. I love the atmosphere of the restaurant. It is well decorated and very clean. There is plenty of seating available, and they have a patio. They have unique drinks and food selections. There is something for everyone. The service was great in the beginning, but once we received our dinner, she never came back. We had to call her over for the check and some boxes. Overall, I would definitely recommend going here. The food was fantastic.

Ate here today for probably the fifth time or so. Always good. Had the “You’re a mean one” (Grinch/Christmas) burger. Delicious and fun.

I usually always love coming here for the food, drinks, and the bartender, but it’s been a few months. So it was very disappointing to be sitting at the bar with 2 workers walking behind the bar without saying anything to me, then left. Also, I believe a manager in a plaid shirt walked behind the bar all the way around, by passing me without saying anything to me. Then left to start fixing the bar chairs. At this point, still no one has approached me. Idk if I’ll be going back with this new service sadly. It’s called team work to take the time to greet a guest even if ur not the bartender or it’s not your table. It goes along way.
