Philly native who moved to the Boston area and let me just say this is the closest thing to a cheesesteak from home that I’ve found in New England. Very inspired by Del Rossi’s and Angelo’s, both the pizza and cheesesteak were phenomenal. Chris was awesome and was shooting the shit with me about our favorite places in Philly and best ways to get the same quality up north and overall was incredibly welcoming and helpful to all customers. Safe to say, I will be a regular here from now on.

Cant overstate how good this place is. We heard about it on Instagram, and it fully lived up to the hype. There’s incredible attention to detail and it really shows — homemade seeded rolls, homemade meatballs, incredible pizza crust. We got the Grandma Flo pizza, cheesesteak, and philly philly sandwich. Pizza and cheese steak are best-in-class. Philly philly is different and full of flavor.

Takeout only location and a true gem for that purpose. My new favorite steak and cheese sub in greater Boston. We also got the Grandma Flo pizza which was great too. You can taste the quality ingredients, really makes a difference. Pictured is half the steak bomb since it was devoured too quick to get a full image.

After seeing them pop up on instagram for their amazing sandwiches I finally made the stop. Let me tell you, worth the hour drive. Staff extremely friendly, place was packed and service was fast and efficient. And most importantly the food was incredible. Fantastic chicken cutlet and steak and cheese sandwiches.

Massachusetts has pizza in bars, Roast beef spots, mom and pop shops and pop ups and grocery stores like Whole Foods. Square Deli is top tier and it’s a spot that’s worth the reviews and a 1hr drive. If you’re a pizza connoisseur you know my first sentence means it’s good to find a store front with a true love of pizza making that can compete with hubs like NYC and New Haven. And there’s sandwhiches are bomb, it’s no steak bomb it feels like I ate a Philly joint.

We came to Everett just for Chris’ pizza. It tasted delicious! I know the price can be daunting initially but he is seriously being generous with what he charges $25 for a whole pizza. It’s not an artisanal style pizza but he uses the best quality ingredients for what’s availble and does everything from scratch. Now having had the pizza, it should be marked closer to $50. Be aware that it takes about 30 min for the pizza to be made which can be a bit if you’re unprepared. But if you have just a small group of friends 2-4 people, it’s a good time to catch up. I probably wouldn’t come here for a date though as it’s more on the fast food side – unless your date loves pizza that is. I hope you will get to visit, it’s totally worth a trip especially because Chris is very nice and easy to talk. We could not recommend this place enough. ❤️

The Square Deli in Everett was the quiet champion of our Boston trip. We were on a full pizza quest after binge watching Dave Portnoy’s reviews and chasing that Montes ten. My twin lives in Everett so we wandered over, not expecting much more than a casual bite.
Then the Square hit us with the best slice of the trip. No drama. No hesitation. Just that perfect balance of crisp, chew, and real neighborhood soul. It felt like discovering a local secret even though word has finally started to spread, and honestly it is about time. Everett deserves this kind of shine.

My wife declared their pizza, specifically the grandma flo fresh out the oven, as the best pizza she’s ever had. Perfect crunch and balanced flavor —truly as if your Italian grandma put her famous meatballs on a sourdough pizza. Need I say more? Please the wife for she is a good thing.
