Cozy spot with casual atmosphere. Almond croissant and hot chocolate (half sweet) were good. Will be back.

I love this spot. Ambiance is great. Coffee is on the pricy side, but I don’t mind paying extra to support a business I like. This is one of my favorite places in Rochester to study or meet up with a friend.

I love that Spyhouse isn’t just about great coffee – it’s also among their first to offer a thoughtful selection of local craft beers and wines, blending sophistication with local flair. Whether you’re popping in for a morning latte or looking for a relaxed place to meet friends, the ambiance and attention to detail make Spyhouse a standout—and a must-visit in Rochester.

One of the best places in Rochester. I hope they bring back the almond croissants and the delicious baked goods. In my last time there they told me that are not offering more almond croissants and they are working with a new bakery. I think that is not a good movement.

Spyhouse Coffee is one of my go-to spots in Rochester! The service is always friendly and efficient, and the ambiance is clean, cozy, and inviting—perfect for getting work done or just relaxing. Plus, they’re one of the few coffee shops in town open late, which is a huge bonus. Highly recommend!

Coffee is okay. It’s a plus that they are open late. Unfortunately the ‘Spyhouse guest’ WiFi was unreliable and the electrical outlets were not working. It’s an okay place to stop by for your classic espresso order, or to meet someone. There are spaces in Rochester more conducive to productivity if that is what you are looking for. Especially if you are looking to support businesses owned my minorities, I would highly recommend choosing a different coffee shop in Rochester.

Great spot to stop here in downtown of Rochester for really great coffee. As it is a roastery – coffee is amazing. Nice atmosphere.
You can buy here lots of coffee beans for home as well and even branded stuff.
Very close to Mayo Clinic, on the ground floor of TownePlace Suites.

This place is fantastic. Hands down the best coffee in Rochester and the staff is wonderful. I had to spend several weeks at the Town Place hotel and looked forward to coming in every morning and often worked here in the afternoons.

They give you loose leaf tea in a clear teapot so you can see it seep, then pour your cup. Just classy! Delicious muffins. Nice staff. Love that they have a coat rack too!

You should definitely stop by if you’re ever downtown Rochester. Especially if you want to get some biz done on-the-go. Customer service was okay (somewhat slow service and didn’t look too happy), The cafe atmosphere is nice and great to try something new other than a franchise establishment. Their latte’s are great, not too sweet or bold (acidic). Tip: Try their Lavender & Honey Latte. Delish.
