Ahoy! Get ye down to Trinidad at the Carribean Beach resort, just a short walk from the skyliner (right at Joffrey’s then right after the bridge). You can see the pieces of Eight on display from the Pirates of the Carribean Pirate Lords!

We tried the breakfast Cuban. Alas, no pictures because I forgot to take one, but it was tasty. Full of slow roasted pork, thick ham slices and cheese on French bread served with breakfast potatoes. I would have preferred tater tots and a real egg or scrambled eggs to the sound frozen egg slice but still enjoyable and easily shareable.

Clean restroom, friendly service. Although the café is open air, they do have a restroom, roof and heaters above for when it is cold out. Definitely worth swapping one of your morning quick services.

This is also the only place I have found sugar free jelly! Sugar free stuff is very hard to find in Disney. This should be brought to all dining establishments.

The Spyglass Grill is very convenient to the Trinidad Pool area. The service is quick and very friendly. For counter service the food is good. They offer a variety of sandwiches, salad, fruit plate and several dessert items. They also have alcoholic beverages available. They have inside, outside and picnic table seating as well as take out.

Nice little snack shack near Bldg 35 and the pool in the Trinidad section of the Caribbean Beach resort.
Two clean bathrooms was my main draw… if one of us needed an extra bathroom, that was the spot.
Their drink/ice machine was broken for nearly our entire stay. Nice views of the lake.

We stayed at the Caribbean Beach Resort and this is the resort restaurant, we ate here several times for breakfast, dinner and snacks. All the food was delicious, hot and fresh, and, of course, being Disney the staff were all lovely and friendly. You can eat in or take the food back to your apartment, and if you buy the souvenir drinks cups you can refill them here for free all the time you are staying in the resort.

Great place to grab lunch during a pool/resort day. Burger hit the spot, tacos were delicious, and the turkey sandwich was fresh. Much better than expected!

Tried the taco trio for $9.99 with fresh fruit. I had the shredder beef, pulled pork and spiced fish which was all good. I loved the fish. My mom has the same thing with chips. She agreed that the fish was the best. The staff was friendly and they had the theaters out on a cool evening. Would definitely eat here again.

Stay away from this place. Even if I was staying in the Trinidad section I would walk an hour to somewhere else.

The wait was crazy. We did the mobile order and we waited like 40 min for them to make it. This was after they set the drinks on the counter in prep for that whole wait. My cuban had little to nothing inside of it and the rest of the food wasnt anything better. Fries were cold and somewhat undercooked and incorrect because the were supposed to be the yuca. It’s also a small cramped area so don’t expect to have seats pending time of day.

Not only were the cast members so friendly and accommodating the soft tacos were delicious and the fries extra crispy, but the view from the dining patio looking out over the water and the Skyliner was perfect!

Can’t say much about the food here since we didn’t stay to try it. We took the skyliner here specifically to eat here but the staff was very unwelcoming. We smiled and enthusiastically greeted the two workers behind the counter but they gave us blank stares back and continued talking to each other. The place was completely empty and they were literally standing there doing nothing, the least they could have done was be somewhat welcoming. The unfriendly vibes made us decide to leave and spend our money elsewhere.

Wanted some breakfast so we ordered out at at this quick service restaurant. It is centrally located in the Trinidad section of the Disney Carribean Beach Resort. Which was convenient because our room was in that section. For more convenience, I placed a mobile order and then walked over to pick it up. I went with the Breakfast Yuca Hash and it was good, not great, but good. It was made up of Roasted Yuca with Chorizo Redeye Gravy and a Sunny-Side Up Egg topped with Pico de Gallo, Cotjia Cheese and a Lime. Reading that menu description I expected a flavor explosion, but alas, not so much. The roasted yuca was nice and crispy, but the chorizo did not have the flavor of a true chorizo. As with anything else that comes in a bowl filled with a lot of ingredients, mixing well before eating is key. The dish was still tasty, albeit a subdued flavor profile. We also ordered scrambled eggs and that was OK. This restaurant doesn’t have a big menu, but it does have a lot of different Carribean inspired choices.
