They’re currently open Thursday through Sunday so we got in a visit our first night here at Otter Crest since it won’t be open the rest of our stay here. My husband had the ribs and said they’re the best he’s had yet. Son had the fish and chips, daughter and I shared the clam strips, and we all had the crab and shrimp pizza (which was amazing!) The service was great. We enjoyed our visit here. Prices were good too.

I’ve been coming to the Inn at Otter Crest for 35 or so years because my family has a timeshare here. I remember coming to The Flying Dutchman (which it was originally named) with my grandparents for special dinners. The new proprietors have done a decent job of keeping the place going. Last time I visited was 5 years ago and they were open for breakfast which we took advantage of a few times. Now they are only open 4 nights a week for dinner only. I get it, it’s off the beaten path and hard to get butts in seats.

I came with my family to celebrate my 60th birthday and I did not have plans so it was just a last minute decision. We decided to eat at this restaurant on the resort and we were pleasantly surprised. Matt took great care of us. The food was so delicious! The cocktail were made to perfection! My husband and I travel all over the world so we dine at find restaurants, we would highly recommend this venue. Thank Matt for making my birthday so memorable.

Very happy to see them open again for in house dining (not just takeout). We really like their pizza. They have specials running again. The Albacore Tuna, Ribs, and the ribeye steaks were delicious. Possibly the best grilled asparagus I’ve ever had. Full bar as well. Not inexpensive but no more expensive than any other nicer restaurants we frequent. We spend a week here at Otter Crest every 3 months and enjoy having dining available. We always try to have their food at least once or twice during our stays. Keep up the good work.

As the bride who held my wedding at this incredible location, I can’t express how perfect it was! The ocean backdrop was breathtaking, and the cost was reasonable. Same here several years ago and it was the best on the Oregon coast. This time though was a different story all together. The view was excellent as always the food looked very good the french fries with the fish and chips were burnt and cold and the clam chowder was the worst I’ve ever eaten at any restaurant I miss the way it used to be I doubt very much if I will return but otherwise had a good time.

We recently had dinner at Spyglass for my mother in law’s 60th celebration. The food was outstanding including the cocktails, service was super friendly and the atmosphere was nice with a view of the ocean. Would highly recommend grabbing a bite to eat here!

We went for dinner thinking it would be pizza and burgers – WOW what a surprise! I had the cod fish & chips – they batter their own and it was amazing. Fam member 1 had the ribs and they were the best bbq ribs we’ve eaten in ages. Fam member 2 tried the BLT and it was so good, the bacon is honeyed and kind of carmelized and smoky. Tried a specialty drink – fresh squeezed citrus, so yummy. The food was excellent, the service was so friendly and the bar/seating area is freshly remodeled and super fun. Oh – and probably the BEST view on the Oregon coast AND they have binoculars at the table. Highly recommend.

Don’t even bother ordering food here. They are separate from the hotel. The food is overpriced, not good, and the service is atrocious. Spent $140 on dinner and they gave us a cheese pizza instead of the $40 seafood pizza we’d ordered. When I walked back to pick up our correct pizza (which was soggy and cold) the server wearing his sunglasses inside asked me where the cheese pizza was! Why would he want a pizza back that had already been touched?! They’d also forgotten our French fries, so we got to eat those cold and soggy as well. Really bummed about our Father’s Day dinner being so horrendous. Especially at that price, and tipping 20% on such terrible service.
