Cons: 40 MINUTES we had to wait for a couple of burgers. Unacceptable.
Out of onion rings. On a weekend? What? It wasn’t even late.
Chicken nuggets were processed frozen not good.
The small eating area is not connected to other building and when there’s a big group you won’t get a seat.
The bugs. Ugh. Don’t eat in your car.
Must haves: Spurlock Dog (looks like a corn dog but way different) incredible batter made from I believe buckwheat and it’s delicious! A malt shake, I personally love a pineapple malt shake but their chocolate malt shake is fantastic. If you’re looking for the feel of a retro drive-in (what sonic used to be) and a great bite to eat, head to Spurlock’s IMMEDIATELY.
Unfortunately this place has gone downhill. Today I ordered a kid’s meal because the prices were a little outrageous. I specifically asked for a burger with nothing on it but she’s and they gave me it with everything including mustard and pickles which were disgusting. The fries went cold very fast, and even though they gave an estimate of 20 minute wait we had to wait at least 30 minutes. When I went back after 25 minutes and asked where our food was she looked at us weird like I was about to order again. Also I asked for a half and half tea and it came unsweetened. I unfortunately most likely won’t be coming back here ever again.

Tasty quality food. I don’t give a place 5 stars often. They have to have something really good about them to get it. This place is a diner and a drive-in. Take your pick. The diner is a warm small section next door. The interior looks like it jumped out of a 50s dream. They play music from the jive era too, while you enjoy your delicious meal. Definitely coming back !
PS, the kids meals come in a cute car shaped box.
