So I found this place on Google based on restaurants near me. I see that it had a 4.5 rating, so I decided to check it out, accompanied by my fiancée, for our midday lunch. Upon arrival, we were greeted by our host and server, Donte, a gentleman who has absolute manners but lacks customer service where detail to the customer is key. We sat down and noticed that the wine glass and utensils were dirty, so I requested another set on the spot. Although it wasn’t busy at first, around opening time, within minutes it became packed. I get the hustle and bustle to get everyone in and situated, but I felt like this affected my stay here, as Donte wasn’t present when needed. I opted for the burrata, which I didn’t like; it didn’t come with balsamic vinegar. For the lunch special, I had meatballs and chicken parmesan, only to find out that you have to add a $6 charge for pasta with no choice of pasta. The ordered drinks were not worth it and were pricey. The meatballs were the highlight of this entire experience. The chicken parmesan was rubbery in texture and dried out, and the pasta had very little tomato sauce. When I needed Donte to let him know my dish was not up to standards, he was nowhere to be found. Several minutes passed, and I asked for the check with additional tomato sauce. My fiancée did not like her food either; she ordered the lunch special meatballs, which she liked, but the salmon she ended up not liking and just boxed it. It was just subpar and mediocre. All in all, I love the atmosphere, but I wouldn’t recommend this place for a tasteful experience, only if you’re in the mood for a good atmosphere place. $96 total between two people for lunch was not worth it.

I had a great time at Spuntino’s mozzarella-making class, it’s a fun, hands-on experience where you actually get to stretch, shape, and enjoy your own fresh mozzarella under friendly chef guidance. Nicole, the manager, made the night especially welcoming and kept everything running smoothly, adding to the warm and social atmosphere. The included wine or prosecco gives it a celebratory feel, making it perfect for a date night or a foodie outing with friends. It’s geared toward beginners, so the process is simple and enjoyable rather than overly technical, and while you don’t leave with a huge amount of cheese or advanced cheesemaking skills, the whole experience is delicious and memorable. Overall, Spuntino’s offers a lighthearted introduction to homemade mozzarella, and thanks to Nicole’s hospitality, it truly feels like a special night out.

I was truly impressed by this Italian restaurant. Each dish we ordered was refined and absolutely delightful. I especially appreciate the smaller portions, which allowed me to enjoy a wider variety of flavors. The prices are very reasonable, the ambiance is lovely, and the service was attentive. A restaurant I highly recommend.

The Gold Standard of Service
It is rare to find a server who possesses such a deep, intuitive understanding of hospitality. Alex E didn’t just take our orders he curated our entire evening.
Knowledgeable His recommendations were spot-on, particularly when it came to pairing the perfect Italian vintage with our small plates.
Attentive He moved with a grace that is hard to find, ensuring our glasses were never empty and each course arrived at the precise moment we were ready for it.
Charismatic Alex E has a way of making you feel like the only table in the room. His professionalism and genuine warmth are the heartbeat of Spuntino’s dining room.

Ps. Make sure you ask for him you’ll thank me later

While visiting family I stopped by here for dinner. Great atmosphere and service. Got a seat at the Bar right away. Not loud, able to talk. Food was perfectly portioned and delicious. They were able to make a moxtail for me which was delicious. I will be back here when I come up to visit.

I don’t usually leave bad reviews, but last night was a really frustrating experience.

The restaurant was busy, but not so busy that service should have been this off. Our waitress seemed distracted the whole time and didn’t write anything down. My friend ordered a Riesling and was brought a Prosecco instead. Not a huge deal, but it kind of set the tone for the night.

We had to keep tracking her down — for appetizers, to place our main order, and even just to pay.

I have a gluten allergy, so I was very clear about it. I asked about the charcuterie board and was told the only issue was the bread. I asked for the bread to be on a separate plate and for the board to be gluten-free. The request wasn’t written down, and the board came out with the bread sitting right on top. We sent it back, and it came back about five minutes later — way too fast to feel like it was actually remade. I didn’t feel comfortable eating it.

When we ordered our main dishes, I again mentioned my gluten allergy. We ordered lamb chops and a risotto to share. Instead, they brought lamb chops and a regular pizza. After we tracked the waitress down again, they took it back and the risotto came out about 20 minutes later.

What was especially frustrating was that the tables around us were getting great service — she was attentive and writing their orders down — but not with us.

At the end, the handheld payment machine was brought over and the waitress stood there watching while we tipped, which felt really uncomfortable given how the night went.

To top it off, I got sick when I got home, which honestly makes me worried that my allergy wasn’t handled properly.

I understand places get busy, but the lack of attention, multiple mistakes, and especially the way a food allergy was handled made this a really disappointing experience.

I had a fantastic lunch with my girlfriend at Spuntino.
Ambience and service were great and food was on point. Chef came out to the floor and checked with every table to make sure food was good.

Meatball was fluffy and tasty. Caesar salad came with shaved Parmesan and big crisp on the side. Salmon was cooked perfect and moist. Orchiette pasta was cooked al Dante and had tons of flavor .
Portion was so generous for lunch special so we got so full. Coffee was fresh.
2 course lunch at $15 for this kind of quality and service was unheard of.. can’t wait to go back to try other items on the menu and desserts.
