We were greeted warmly when we walked in. The server showed us the menus so we could sit and look over them. When we asked to sit outside she came out and wiped down the table and chairs. She kindly communicated to us to just come back in to order when we were ready. She was attentive and careful to take our order correctly. I have diet restrictions and when I asked for no meat she offered alternatives. When the cook overhead she asked her not to charge me full price but a-la-cart. When I changed my mind because some of the items I was only getting because they came with the meal she was very patient in taking them off. Our food came very quickly and they included the avocado I took off for no extra charge and offered the toast in case I didn’t get enough to eat. They apologized for the hot beverage delay but made sure we had what we ordered, mindful to offer honey and milk choices for my tea. Everything was delicious, properly portioned, and beautifully presented.

I love this place! Drove out of my way because face it, it just looks awesome. The food was amazing, coffee was great! I’m a Starbucks, French Roast type of guy, and they have a coffee here that’s called Brainstormin, AMAZING! I don’t usually leave great comments because I’m brutally honest. Everything about this place is cool and the people that work here, very professional and helpful. They were patient with me, helped me when needed. Very nice place.

We were looking for a casual breakfast stop found this restaurant on the map with great reviews. Thinking, we will see about that. They exceed expectations in every category. Friendly, great atmosphere, not rushed and the food … excellent! The breakfast sandwiches, coffee, tea all excellent. We will be back!

Have you experienced this gem yet? We highly recommend you give them a try. We are ALWAYS looking for some place in Gastonia area for breakfast as the options are limited. The Spruced Goose serves breakfast and lunch!!! Food was delicious and affordable! Staff is friendly, inviting, hardworking and accommodating! Love the atmosphere! And…they are pet friendly! There is patio seating, too… for warmer days. Don’t forget the charming shop where you can purchase all kinds of cool things!!!!

This was such a great find! We stopped by here after not finding quick service at other restaurants on a Saturday morning. It has high Google reviews and prior guests left delicious looking photos.
Spruced Goose has lots of food options, a quaint and eclectic historical vibe with seating inside, outside and extra in the back, plus awesome service with a smile. We were able to customize our breakfast plates to be meat-free, yet still tasty, even their fresh fruit!!!
They have local artisan items for sale which is perfect for out of town guests to take a piece of NC back home with them. And it’s for a good cause! Holy Angels mission is making a difference in the lives of their employees and customers that receive their services.
I would definitely come again when the weather is a bit warmer, so we can sit outside. Such a great addition to the Greater Charlotte region!

Food and service was spectacular! Loved the environment and wished I loved closer so I could visit more often and support this business. Iced coffee was yummy. We got the donuts, southwest breakfast wrap, breakfast biscuit, breakfast croissant, and smoothies.

Stopped by for lunch with our friends before heading back to PA. This restaurant has such great meanings and I’m super grateful to have located this place! The atmosphere is amazing, very charming! You order by the entrance and seat yourself type restaurant, but they do bring the food out to your table! Our friends got the coffee flight, which I originally was very excited for but a couple flavors on the flight were my favorite so I didn’t end up getting them but they did let me try. The flights were a little bitter to my liking. For our entrees, I got the Reuben sandwich and my boyfriend got the BLAT sandwich. The Reuben was so good, totally recommend! I just got a salad as my side!

I’ve had most everything on the menu and I love it all!
Flatbread pizzas are my favorite except when I’m hungry for a sandwich!
The facility is immaculate and the staff are friendly and talented!
Some of the customers are a little fuddy duddy but that speaks to the neighborhood and i did say customers only for that comment… most customers are also very friendly and nice!
Drop by and i might be there myself and don’t forget to try their breakfast!

The cutest spot! I cannot wait to come back. All of the staff was so sweet. My mom and I stopped here for breakfast. The atmosphere is so cozy and clean, the food is delicious, and the staff was awesome. The food/ coffee was super reasonably priced also!
