This place is wonderful. Very much a hole in the wall, but don’t let the exterior fool you. Food is fresh and great tasting, and very reasonably priced. The service is really what goes above and beyond. All the servers were kind and attentive, and genuinely made eating here a good experience. Next time I’m in Greensboro, I’ll be sure to visit again. Also, that cornbread was without a doubt, the best cornbread I’ve had at a restaurant.

Great, great, great for a southern palate, and the service was very friendly as well. The greens were some of the best I’ve had since moving to NC and the cornbread was sweet and went well with the dish of friend pork chops. Lovely clean dining room and ambiance was diner feel, over great find.

Waited 13 minutes after seated until finally requesting service. No one knew what was going on. Staff was very confused with each other. Food arrived about 17 minutes later for a 2 eggs, grits and toast order. Eggs were on the cold side of luke warm. Grits were good and correct temp. Toast was mixed, soggy one, hard as a brick second one. Tea was good. Prices are acceptable. If you like playing the lottery then try this place.

This is my weekly spot. They serve you rather fast and food is very good. Not expensive considering the rising cost of foods. I believe everyone still comes because of the staff and the level of service. Each day has a special menu with several items to choose from. Locals come back daily. Breakfast is always great. Plates are under $12 bucks. I normally get extras and side items. Trust me, you want go broke here. Staff will keep checking on you even after your food is half way gone. Diversity and family friendly all the time. Safe place as well. Not to far from the GSO PD sub station. Not huge waits as well. Been coming for over 6 years since moving the Greensboro.

Breakfast is very good. Tenderloin biscuit (grilled or fried) is my go to with a side of homefries. Literally drive about 20 minutes to get this before work, so that’s saying something. I haven’t tried the lunch yet but my parents regularly visit during lunch and they were the reason I visited for breakfast, so I’m sure lunch is equally as great.

This is the first time I have eaten here and and it was way better than I expected. It’s a small restaurant but they pack a huge crowd with its fantastic menu. I got the hamburger steak plate with fries and homemade black eyed peas (and yes they use real ham to season them with!). The hamburger steak was juicy and I didn’t even think about putting A1 on it. They have home cooked meals, the way food is supposed to be. I walked away from there absolutely full thankful I didn’t have to go back to work on my full stomach. I would recommend to anyone as they have something everyone could eat. I’ll be back for sure! They even have biscuits the size of your head that come with your meal.
