After a full day wandering an outdoor vintage fest, hunting for the perfect outfit for a future model shoot, we rolled into Spring Street Tavern hungry, tired, and ready for something good.
We were greeted with a smile and handed cold drinks—instant mood boost.
Then came the food… and wow. The chicken nachos, chicken quesadilla, and artichoke dip with bread were all absolutely on point. Each one hit just right—like they knew exactly what kind of day we’d had.
Perfect pit stop, great vibes, and honestly… dangerously easy to linger a little longer than planned.

you need a breakfast spot that’s open super early, this place is an absolute lifesaver. Like… the kind of early where even the sun is still hitting snooze, but they’re already up serving food like champions. I walked in half-awake and left fully revived like I just got rebooted with a fresh software update
Now let’s talk about the steak and eggs because WOW… it was BOMB. The steak was cooked perfectly, seasoned right, and tasted like somebody back there actually cares about your happiness. The eggs were exactly how I ordered them, everything came out hot and fresh, and the portions were big enough to make you reconsider every time you’ve ever eaten a “granola bar breakfast.” This meal didn’t just fill me up… it restored my soul.
Service was awesome too — fast, friendly, and on point. And I’m not even gonna pretend I didn’t notice… the servers were good looking and had great energy. Like listen… I came for steak and eggs, but I also got excellent service and a nice little morning confidence boost (I was over here trying to look normal like I didn’t just roll out of bed looking like a raccoon with a caffeine deficiency.)
Overall: open early, amazing food, great vibes, and top-tier service. If you want a real breakfast that hits hard and makes your whole day better, this is the spot. I’d recommend it to anybody — and I’ll definitely be back!

I love this place! The food is great and vibes are immaculate. Servers are friendly, food is priced well and I honestly dont have complaints. Their breakfast menu had good variety and the deluxe biscuits and gravy was delicious. Highly recommend.

First time there. Staff was great. Encountered an overly wasted lady in the bathroom who I asked repeatedly to stop touching me because I really had to pee and she was preventing that. So then she tried to start a fight with me and tried getting others to jump me. I’m 57… too old for that and I’ve been sober for 21 years so I just love a drunk in my face trying to pick a fight. I was having flashbacks of my entire booze filled marriage. Luckily, I’m small and wiley so while they were planning how they were gonna get me i just walked out and left. End of that crap. Stupid kids. I won’t be going back again soon that’s for sure. Which is too bad, it seemed like a cool neighborhood hang out place.

Food is always good there no matter what time you go. The bartenders are real hit or miss depending on how much of the stock they’ve gotten into. If there is wait staff on then definitely sit on the porch you’ll get much better service. The venue downstairs is a lot of fun especially on comedy night. As for people calling it a dive bar I don’t know if it’s necessarily that I guess it depends on how highbrow you are to begin with. It is just your average neighborhood bar with really good food.

Amazing hidden spot. Very much dive bar feel but has a decent size menu. We came for breakfast, got some spiked coffees and everything we all had was amazing. Will definitely come again when I visit. Love the inclusivity of all walks of life
