Stopped here during a snowy outing to warm up. The atmosphere was fine and appeared family-friendly, but the music was extremely loud, something to consider if you’re sensitive to noise or dining with kids. It also took quite a while for a server to come to our table, and the child with us became restless waiting.
Unfortunately, there was a hair inside one of the soup bowls, which was disappointing. The broth itself was very bland, and the chicken was extremely rubbery. I ended up adding a lot of Sriracha just to make it flavorful.
While reviews suggest this may be popular with locals, our experience was underwhelming. It served its purpose as a warm stop, but overall the food and service did not meet expectations.

There is no higher compliment I can give a restaurant than to say that they make us feel like we are being welcomed home. From our first visit our family of five has been greeted with a smile and kindness by all the staff. The space is always impeccably clean. The food is consistently fresh and delicious. The soups, noodle bowls, and rice dishes are all aromatic and seasoned perfectly. The Vietnamese coffee is such a treat. We brought my mum for her first visit today and she absolutely loved it. Also a huge plus, the owner is such a gentleman and checks in to make sure we are happy with everything. We are very appreciative. Overall, a wonderful restaurant experience that we would highly recommend!

Had a great experience here. The appetizers were send out very fast. The pho was perfect and incredibly filling. The prices were good considering the portions were quite big. Will definitely be returning and telling others to check it out.

One of my favorite local spots. I often come here for chicken pho—especially when a cold hits—and it’s always comforting and delicious. The atmosphere is friendly, clean, and filled with great music. The staff is attentive and responsive; they know what I like and always deliver great service. I’m not usually a mai tai drinker, but I love theirs. Highly recommend. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

I have come to Spring restaurant in Methuen multiple times. Usually, Every time I come in for PHO I bring a new friend with me and they fall in love with it as much as I do. I love the music that they play. The people that work there are super friendly and the food is consistently delicious. It’s a 10 out of 10. You will not be disappointed everything is very fresh and delicious.

I’m a die-hard Vietnamese food enthusiast, having grown up and lived near Little Saigon in Southern California. So, when we moved to New England, we were on a mission to find authentic Vietnamese cuisine. Spring Restaurant had high hopes, but unfortunately, it fell short once again.
Let’s start with the positives. The French roll was a true delight. It had the perfect crunch on the outside and a soft, chewy interior. The fried egg was cooked to perfection—not runny whites but with a rich, viscous yolk. Well done on those two pieces!
However, the rest of the meal was a letdown. The grilled pork was a disappointment. I expected moist bits of pork loin with a savory and sweet exterior, accompanied by crispy grill bark. Instead, it was some kind of marinated pork that was either steamed or microwaved. There was no evidence of grilling, and it tasted like teriyaki—not at all what I expected.
The pickled cucumber, carrots, and daikon were also a letdown. They were too thick and lacked the tangy sweetness they should have had. To add insult to injury, there were no jalapeños!
The spring rolls were mediocre at best. I recall the spring rolls we used to get, which had shrimp, sausage strips, rice noodles, and basil wrapped in rice paper. This one had shrimp and rice noodles in rice paper wrap—very bland. The sauce was okay, but not remarkable.
The milk tea was the only saving grace. It was a bit on the sweet side, but it had a good consistency and plenty of pearl bobas.
Overall, I don’t think I’ll be going back to Spring Restaurant. But I’m open to trying it again if you’re curious. I think you’ll find that I’m being generous with this 3-star review.

This place offers the best food and atmosphere in the area. They always make us feel like we are a guest in their home. The service is fast, and the food is delicious! Best Pho! Spring rolls and Crab Rangoon best we have had!
