My wife and I visited the other night to celebrate our anniversary and what a wonderful experience it was. From the minute we stepped in we were greeted by friendly staff and that carried on through our entire meal. We started off our meal with Old Fashioned cocktails that we’re very well made. My wife got bacon wrapped scallops and I had snapper soup. Both were exceptional but the real treat was our entrées of sautéed crab with mashed potatoes and green beans. The crab was tender and delicious. Overall the atmosphere, service and food were all top notch and reasonably priced. We aren’t from the local area but certainly will be back because everything was worth the trip.

What a wonderful spur of the moment dinner we had. No reservations and they sat us immediately. Our waitress Annemarie was fabulous. She interacted with all her customers like they were family. She was genuinely interested in conversing and listening and made sure your dining experience was amazing. I definitely recommend this place. Ask for Annemarie you won’t regret it. Thanks again Annemarie for a wonderful evening.

Have been here for business dinners and with family. Really enjoy eating on the deck weather permitting. Everything I have tried on the menu was really good but the French Onion Soup (they call theirs Baked Onion Soup on the menu) is top notch. I order it at many places and by far this is the best I’ve had. Burgers are always cooked as ordered, staff is great and attentive. Go here! You won’t be disappointed!!

Ann Marie was fabulous; it was our first time dining here, we brought our teenage sons for dinner. She was so friendly and my boys both commented how much they enjoyed the experience. The food was delicious, service outstanding. We look forward to coming back soon!

I wish I stopped sooner ! From the bread to the famous crab cakes ! The tarter sauce is amazing!!! I can’t wait to come back and bring my husband with me next time ! The service is phenomenal great atmosphere! I can’t wait to be back !

Food was fine. Have been many times. Sorta of our Ambler pre theater or after theater spot with my group of friends as well as other occasions. One of our drinks spilled before I could even take a sip. Knocked over due to large menu small table. Completely our fault. Asked for drink to be replaced. Waitresses handled clean up professionally and politely. Brought me a wet napkin to wipe myself up too. Only at end did we see on bill that spilled drink was charged. Manager came over and explained restaurant policy unless employee fault. If we were repeat offenders I’d be more understanding. The profit on a drink is quite large so customer loyalty/repeat service is generally a consideration. Not in this case. In other restaurants have noticed replaced with no issue for similar situations. Something to consider when we are deciding where to go in future.

I co-hosted a small baby shower, and it was a great experience! Our server Mary Ann was amazing and went above and beyond. We had a cute little private room that we were given an hour to decorate. The lunch options were very tasty, and the package was reasonably priced. I’d definitely recommend it for similar events.

Today we celebrated by future daughter in law’s bridal shower at the Springhouse Tavern. It was the perfect choice. We arrived early to set up the room and were greeted by Anne Marie our WONDERFUL party helper/server/anything we needed person.
