Spring Hill Pastry is famous for their “Hot Dogs” and no, we are not talking about something you grill. These are pastries the size of a hot dog bun, filled with sweet cream that makes you question every other dessert decision you have ever made.
They made the cake and the colored Hot Dogs for my wedding a little over six years ago, and people still talk about them. That alone tells you everything you need to know. Better than home cooking and I love home cooking. If I lived closer, I would eat here weekly.
⭐ Service: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ (5 out of 5)
They handled a wedding order without missing a beat. Everything was exactly as promised and right on time. When you are trusting someone with dessert at a wedding, that is serious business. They delivered. They should give the staff a raise and a crown.

The atmosphere was Class M, with the standard breathable mix of approximately 78 percent nitrogen, 21 percent oxygen, 0.9 percent argon, 0.04 percent carbon dioxide, trace gases — and the unmistakable aroma of fresh baked pastry and sweet cream filling.
It has that classic bakery feel. Warm, welcoming, and packed with display cases that make you change your mind at least three times before ordering.
Best around. And if you have not tried one of their Hot Dogs yet, you are missing out on one of West Virginia’s sweetest treasures.

Ordered a Bluey Birthday cake for a sweet 7 year old! We needed strawberry cake with Bluey Theme! No problem ordering & we got exactly what we wanted! Delicious and marvelous! We are so blessed to have this sweet bakery in our area! What a gem! Always friendly-hospitable & efficient! When I was younger my mom always had us a Spring Hill cake & I carry the tradition with my loved ones! We also grabbed two chocolate hot dogs it would had been a sin not too! Enjoy all the things along with fresh breads-rolls-pies and more! Locally operated and owned by the most kindest families. Super close to the interstate & gasoline. Highly recommend for all your fresh baked needs!

We absolutely love this place and stop every chance we get! I know it’s wild to say I’m not crazy about the hotdogs, but my husband is! I can definitely appreciate them, but love their other names much more. Every item I’ve had from here has been incredible, and you can’t beat the prices!

Our first time here. The line was out the door despite the light rain, but we decided to go in anyway. The line moved pretty quick and the staff was very friendly. It was definitely worth the stop. If you stop by, try the hot dog pastries; they are delicious.

We got way too much sugar here but it all looks so good. We started with the chocolate hot dog, then got the chocolate coconut cake, followed by the vanilla fondant, with a chocolate cherry cake, a honey bun and a sticky bun. The hot dog is very good, not sure I agree with the name but anyways. The hot dog is light and fluffy with a light cream in the middle, great mouth feel without having the sugar buzz. The fondant would have been my favorite but it has too much icing (it was too sweet), but the cake is light and airy with just the right amount of sweetness. The honey bun and sticky bun were exactly those nothing that really makes them stand out but good none the less. The cherry was a nice combination of flavors but the make up of it with the rest of the items made it not seem as good. Lastly the coconut had what I was told was boiled frosting, which is supposed to have the texture of marshmallow cream without the marshmallow taste, and it did have that, but overall it had too much going on with it.

I usually have had nothing but great things to say about this bakery, but the cream horns I purchased today literally tasted like dish soap. I don’t know if the bowl or the utensils had soap left on them, but my husband said it was bad. Hopefully, it was just a one-time fluke as everything has always been delicious.

There were a few flies inside but I’ve been told the hot dogs were excellent. The pastry was delicious. There wasn’t anything outstanding about the staff but you can tell they make everything on site. I recommended to others to give it a try.

Well my sister told me about there hotdogs tried them out. Well rest is history or herstory see she passed away I road with her so don’t know where this place was she would go to a Dr appointment for ruematoid arthritis severe and would call these In on the wAy to there when down picked these up. Line always around the building and down the street. Miss her miss the hotdogs
