This place was very cute and welcoming. Staff was friendly and made you feel like you were at home. Food was fast and good. My corn beef omelette was alittle salty but I think it was my fault I wanted feta cheese instead of regular cheese. But French onion soup was very nice. Spicy but a great kick will come back. Bathroom smelled fresh. Will recommend this little diner. Way better then Hampton diner happy I found something local.

They openned after renovations a few months ago. I never experienced this place before they renovated it because I wasnt working in the area. The 1st time I went here for lunch, I got a special, which was grilled cheese with tomatoes, fries and lental soup. It was VERY good! I LOVED the fries. I like to eat healthy but french fries are my weakling. (My favorite fries are McDonalds, which many can agree with me) However, these fries were unique because they were sort of medium skinny and CRUNCHY to die for! Yummy! Then, 2nd favorite was the lental soup! Yummy!… But I went there a few more times before I had to move on to another town for work and they never had the lental soup again 🙁 And the 2nd time, I ordered a burger but the fries were different. They were crunchy, but thicker and the thickness didn’t let the fries taste the same. When I went back the 3rd time, I asked the guy why one time the fries were skinner, and the next time they were thicker, and he said they get the fries from 2 different vendors so the skinnier fries will come again. I told him he should always use the skinnier fries as it taste better, and he said he didnt know that and appreciated my feedback. The burger came with a side salad but I give the salad 4 stars cause it had iceburg lettuce in it, which is the cheapest not so healthy lettuce. I also ordered a dessert that day, (which is in the cup below) but I cant remember what it was. However, I didnt like it because it was too sweet. They have other desserts you can choose from. They always had different specials, and a variety of food. I always ordered to go so I didnt get to experience the waitering, but the staff was always friendly when I went. They have TVs to watch while eating and they hav a breakfast bar counter to sit at if your rolling solo or just want to have like a quick coffee. Place was always clean when I went. It looks small from the outside but its bigger in the inside. There was no one there when I first went, but afterwards, during lunch, I would see about 2-3 groups of people there. Overall, food is great.

We went there this morning for breakfast after my sons game. The restaurant had an old diner style theme. It was so cool. We had a nice waitress. The bathroom was clean. I ordered pancakes with scrambled eggs and French toast and I asked the waitress if they had turkey bacon. She said they were looking for it. So when she confirmed they had it, I ordered it with my meal. When I received the food it looked fine. I went to move my BACON OVER AND I NOTICED SOMETHING DARK. WHEN I TURNED IT OVER IT HAD A HUGE MOLDY GREENISH SPOT . I WAS DISGUSTED. The French toast looked like bread and butter it was not cooked properly and didn’t taste like French toast. THEY remade my pancakes, eggs and French toast. I did not want anymore meat. By that time I only took a few bites. My husband and son’s breakfast was fine except for his french toast also not being cooked well. One of the workers came over to apologize. MY MEAL WAS ABOUT 13 AND THEY TOOK OFF TWO DOLLARS FOR THE MEAT. Serving moldy food is unacceptable. What if I didn’t notice and had given my son a piece of the bacon. This was a horrible dining experience.

We went to Newton for the DMV and hopefully we tried One of the best diners in NJ. Delicious food and also friendly staff. It’s not a crowded place so it was safe to breakfast there. We’ll try to come back.

I was the only one in the diner with my wife & mother in law. service was terrible, the people who walked in after us got served first with a whole breakfast meal while I sat there waiting a half hr for a buttered roll with cream cheese.
