WHAT HAS MADE SPRING CREEK A FAVORITE DINING DESTINATION SINCE 1980? First and foremost are our delicious barbeque specialties – ribs, brisket, chicken, sausage, pulled pork, ham and turkey. With pits fired up daily at all of our locations, we get up early to hickory-smoke all of your favorites, and our ribs are then chargrilled for extra flavor. We feature a homemade BBQ sauce, made from our own secret recipe, fries and okra cooked to order, fresh salads with homemade dressings, giant loaded baked potatoes and the best home-baked bread you’ll ever taste.
We can proudly say that we are still slow smoking after all these years!

After spending several minutes on the phone with the young lady, and I repeated ‘fatty’ brisket and extra sour cream with the baked potato, over and over. And I did say that I would pay for the cost for extra sour cream.
What I got for $50:
was 2/3 lb of dry thick hunks of roast, and 1/3 lb of adequate fatty meat.
And my baked potato has NO BUTTER on it, and a mere 2T of sour cream on a potato as big as my shoe.
The receipt does not indicate any of my specifications. Zero attention to detail.
I tried to call and speak with a manager and the phone was never answered.

The BBQ is mediocre, and the chopped beef sandwich meat is disappointingly served from a pre-made pot of meat product instead of actual freshly diced brisket.
The staff are engaged and friendly. The freshly baked rolls (more like mini loaves of bread) that are passed out to the customers can be addictive.
The amount of dust and grime on the vents that overhang the cooking area is quite concerning. Pictures attached.
Overall, this is a moderately adequate place to stop in for a quick taste of bbq.

We came for lunch, not crowded at all. Everyone was really nice and attentive. I do like the lady who brought us extra bread, she was lovely and thoughtful! Brisket was moist, tender, way better than other BBQ chains. Ribs was a little bit sweet. Turkey was alright. I do like green bean and coleslaw the most. Bread was fresh and buttery, 100% like. I will be back for other dishes.

Good quick service. The pulled pork sandwich was really good along with the Mac and cheese. The potato salad tasted out of a tub while the Cole slaw was dry. The Mac and cheese was decent although not warm. The brisket was dry and lacked flavor which was disappointing but their fresh bread rolls are yummy.

This is a nice place to get a BBQ lunch special, it includes 1 meat and 2 sides with a roll for under $17, drink additional. We had the turkey and the brisket and both were moist and flavorful. The sides of pinto beans and Mac n cheese had very little flavor. Mac n cheese actually tasted like water so I added bbq to it. The pinto beans were kinda plain so I added a packet of Splenda to it. The rolls are made in house and heavy. They have butter for the rolls but honey butter would be amazing with these yeasty rolls. They offer peach/apple cobbler with ice cream or you can get just ice cream. The service was fast and the atmosphere was clean. We enjoyed our visit.

I am months late to this review. Miranda and her manager Xavier were amazing. My friend and I were there for a study group and didn’t know we had to pay for our own food. Miranda and Xavier we so nice to refund us our food! Thank you so much!

We elected to withhold our review until we gave Spring Creek BBQ a second chance. Our initial experience at the Spring location was underwhelming, with the food bearing a striking resemblance to dried-out leftovers. We then decided to try the second location on I-45 in Shenandoah, but unfortunately, our experience did not improve. The brisket was remarkably dry and lacked discernible flavor. The BBQ sausage tasted eerily similar to an Oscar Meyer hot dog wiener. The baked potato was also overcooked and dry. The barbecue sauce itself had a diluted consistency, with an apparent excess of sugar, resulting in a watery taste. These issues were consistent with our experience at the original Spring location. Ultimately, our lunch experience was a disappointing waste of over $40.00.

Family oriented professional crew members and good food, the sandwiches weren’t as big as in the online pictures

My wife wanted to be eat so we did. I think this place is overrated. She paid $25 for a barbecue baked potato and two side items. She claims the guy at the counter, told her the items were included. They charge us four dollars each at the register. The cashier said they were not included.
Either my wife can’t read or they lied to her.

First time here.
We enjoyed a pleasant lunchtime meal.
We had ribs, chopped beef sandwich, bbq beef stuffed baked potato.
Cole slaw was exceptional; nice & chunky and not too much dressing.
Freshly baked square rolls were delightful.
Warm peach cobbler & Blue Bell Ice was so comforting.
