I’ve always enjoyed Spring Creek BBQ, but this was my first time at this particular location. A friend and I came here for a luncheon, and it did not disappoint. From the moment we walked in, the team at the counter was welcoming and pleasant, which set the tone for a great meal.
I make it a point to check the restrooms wherever I go, and this one was spotless—floors were clean and everything was well-kept. That detail alone tells me the staff here really cares about the entire dining experience, not just the food.
Of course, the food was as good as I remembered—fresh, flavorful, and served with great service. It was the kind of meal that reminds me why Spring Creek has always been one of my favorites. This location definitely lived up to the reputation and then some.
If you’re in the area and looking for a solid BBQ spot with excellent service and a clean environment, this place deserves to be on your list.

For starters the dude taking our order couldn’t understand or speak English, that was frustrating. The best deal is the bakers plate, pulled pork and brisket sandwich were at best, meh. Portion size sucked, I’m a grown man in a BBQ place I would rather just eat at McDonald off the value menu it’d be better than this place. Best thing about this place were the bread rolls the handed out, but good luck trying to find the nice lady walking around with them, shouldn’t be an issue with how dead this place was. Prob should have taken that into consideration when I pulled into the parking lot.

Everything was good though not amazing like some bbq in DFW. Ok value for lunch specials but Portions should be bigger and the meat is overly sweet for me. Decent ribs. If you have kids the 10$ lunch comes with meat and two sides. Rolls come out of the oven fresh and the woman serving them was very kind. The other staff behind the counter were not enthusiastic.
Tip to management- people like to be greeted with energy and kindness, esp here in Texas. The bun lady (lunch on dec31) was nice but the others were robotic.

It’s Dallas, Texas… how can you not have some barbecue for lunch? Quick service, yummy food, good people…and how can I not mention those rolls
The rolls might have been the best I’ve had!
The cobbler is more of peach pie tho FYI

Dont be fooled by the pictures of the food it wont look like that on your plate. They have all the sides set out and the thing that hit me first was the greens looked pale and gray. I avoided those and got mac and slaw but they both tasted bland, slimy, and like a week old. Sausage was decent but hard to tell when its drowned in bbq sauce. It was hard to find silverware and water and I had to get help. By the way it was around $18 for a single meat and 2 sides.

The Management and Service staff here are excellent! Everyone is super friendly and super happy. I had the sliced beef sandwich, coleslaw, and potato salad. Excellent as always! We went on Sunday afternoon and you get free bluebell. Yummy! Highly recommend this restaurant.

The BBQ chicken and ribs were good but not worth the elevated prices. The BBQ plates used to come with all the veggies but now they limit you to two. The green beans were good but the mac and cheese was basically cheese flavored macaroni. Not many people there for a Saturday night.

Best bbq I’ve had since I’ve been in Texas! The chicken is good and tender, falling off the bone and full of flavor. Bbq sauce is really good! Green beans and potato salad is good as well!! The roll is very good and soft! The restaurant is clean and the staff is very welcoming and friendly! I will be back!

I recently visited Spring Creek Barbecue and while the food was decent, I can’t say I was blown away. One of my main issues was the price – I felt like I was paying a lot for what I got. Additionally, I was disappointed that they didn’t offer fresh rolls. While I appreciate that they had other bread options, I really enjoy fresh rolls with my meal. Overall, I would say that Spring Creek Barbecue is a decent choice, but there are probably better options out there in terms of value for money and variety of offerings.

I always judge a BBQ place by the ribs and Spring Creek had some pretty good ribs. The service and customer interaction were typical for a chain-type place. The restaurant was clean and the food was good, can’t ask for much else. Jun 2022
