Nice little place for takeout. I got steamed dumplings and roast pork egg foo young ($15 and some change total). The dumpling sauce was slightly sweeter than most. While I prefer the traditional ones more, this was a nice change up. I liked the gravy for the egg foo young. The food itself is average when compared to the ones nearby in Jackson. Staff was friendly, the prices were nice, and the wait time was not bad at all.

We got sweet and sour chicken. The sweet and sour had absolutely no flavor, the chicken was really dry and the fried rice was gross. Crab rangon was ok. We tried to stomach it but ended up throwing away. I used to go here back in the early 2000’s and it was pretty good, as off August 2025 it is absolutely horrible. I won’t be returning anytime soon.

Only Take Out at this location, and it was the WORST Chinese food I have EVER had!! I feel sorry for the people of Brooklyn having only this place for Chinese. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else. Pictures are from what was left…chicken was DRY & OVERCOOKED. Egg Roll was frozen. Beef Fried rice was fried rice. I picked all the beef out which was minimal. As you can tell by the picture it was ALL rice. Never again. They still have covid glass up, seems to be Take out only.

It is what it is, and it’s always good.
Can order to go online so don’t need to call, the lady there is nice and the entire staff is efficient and quick with the orders.
Not anywhere to really sit down and eat so gotta say no on atmosphere, but definitely grateful this place is here.

I tried their food for the first time yesterday and I was very disappointed.
I got lo mein and General Tsao chicken. The lo mein was mushy and tasted fishy, I got chicken lo mein, and then the chicken was overcooked and tasteless. I actually threw it all away.
However, it was very clean. And the woman at checkout was very nice.
I will not go back.

This is surprisingly a really good Chinese Takeout based on location. We still haven’t found really amazing Chinese here in Midwest after coming from a place where it was plentiful, so we love this one! We weren’t sure we were at right place at first but makes sense now since it’s pretty much take out only. The bonus is, that if there’s another pandemic, this place will most likely never be closed 🙂 The food is has a lot of rich flavors and the best Chinese in the Midwest that we’ve found to date.

I’ve been frequenting Spring City for many years. The food used to be very good, freshly cooked. The past few times I ordered the food has been terrible. The chicken lomein looks and tastes like it was made a few days ago, crab rangoons were extremely mushy as though cooked in a large batch hours ago. Nice people but it seems the cook has forgotten how to cook.

I have been ordering from here for a long time, it was a great place for Chinese takeout. But over the last couple years I have noticed a really big decline. And tonight I had enough. The rice was starchy. I ordered the cashew chicken and it instantly smelled like fish when I opened the bag and the food tasted like fish even though there is no fish anything in this dish. I have ordered the orange chicken before and I believe the chicken is the same in both dishes and the texture of the chicken is questionable. I hope this place has a come back and maybe I will be back also. But I am done wasting my money on really bad food.

Chicken fried rice: very dry.
Sweet and sour chicken: average and tasted ok.
General tso chicken: dry and lacking flavor.
Orange chicken: I honestly couldn’t tell the difference between orange chicken and general Tso because they both lacked flavor.
Chicken lo mein: lacked flavor also. I’ve never had to actually add salt to lo mein before but it was needed.
White rice: nice and moist
Egg roll: dry.
