In my opinion, this place is so out of touch with reality. I have eaten here a few times, and the food is not worth the price at all. A bacon cheeseburger was like $13.00 and it wasn’t even good. The fries were mediocre, and the service wasn’t good. This wasn’t a one time thing either, I have gone multiple times, and I have just given up. Three Fingers Pub, a block away has (WAY BETTER FOOD & SERVICE) the Hitterdal Bar is a way better atmosphere and the food is damn near half the price and way more delicious.

After a long day of traveling, I just wanted a comforting meal that would fill me up. I ordered the cheese curds and they were very yummy with or without the ranch dipping sauce. My sister has a plain cheeseburger, and I had the Bacon Blu cheeseburger. The burgers were cooked well, and the blue cheese was creamy, dreamy, and a perfect compliment with the bacon. We both had french fries which were tasty. They offer Pepsi products by the can, and I enjoyed a draft pint of Kona Big Wave. The atmosphere was a bit loud, which should be expected for a bar, but the service was top notch.

Nice little place. I thought my bacon cheeseburger was very good, and the fries were also above average. Menu is pretty limited, which can be a big downside to other people. The service was also pretty good, folks were friendly. A place I would eat at again, but not necessarily a go to for me.

Workers keep the place clean, and the food is pretty darn good. Great price for what your getting. The building is kinda old but not bad at all for the area.

Absolutely horrible owner and son sitting at bar drinking beer and watching tv while one waitres is trying to wait on full bar and take food orders. After 45 minutes I informed Cookie (the owner) that her employee needs some help then I was told to leave and she continued to drink beer with her son Zack. Like many other couples in Hawley we will never go into this place again. No wonder it has been for sale for years. Good luck with your business plan Cookie.
