Most my family lives in steubenville ohio – however I’m from california. What I do know is if you never been to or heard of the spot bar – you aint from da ville! Have very fond memories going to this establishment with my grandpa and other family members. My brother and I both wore commemmorative spot bar t shirts growing up – same logo – same great friendly crowd of people!
I know the ville has seen better days, and even lost their mall five or six years ago. It was a relief to learn this establishment is still holding steady, serving the steubenville community with smiles, laughs, great conversation and plenty of steelers football!

We had to come in to town unexpectedly because our sweet, beautiful friend passed away. We stopped here to get a drink and calm our nerves.. the people we met were the nicest, kindest people. They even bought a pizza from the local pizza place so we could experience “Steubenville style” pizza. A perfect local spot to get a good drink and have good conversation.

Dean martin concert was great but I paid a cover charge and had no place to stand to watch it. That was a ripoff. It was too crowded and too hot to stand up stairs in the middle part. And the bartender had an attitude. Love Steubenville been here 4 times. I support this little economy and bar hop it when when theres no festivals and its dead. This will be my last time coming by. Kinda disappointed I drove 3 hours for this bs.

This is a local hangout,I was here on a Monday at 11a and there were 8 people here (all locals),Big on sports,I’m told there are a couple garage bands with some local flav that are pretty good playing here on weekends. No pool tables but it apears they have a covered area you can smoke.Overall I kinda find the place homie.
