I’ve only been here once. I’m not sure if they serve any kind of food or how good it is, but the beer selection is pretty poor, at least in my opinion. They have Budweiser, Bud Light, Miller Genuine Draft, and Fat Tire on tap(I think there was one more, but I don’t remember what it was). They have a few other choices if you choose to buy bottled beer(like Corona), but trust me, you don’t want to go that route because it’s 3.50 a bottle. On tap it’s only 1.50, and they are pretty decent sized mugs.
The service was great, and keep in mind there was a birthday party going on, so it was pretty busy. I only dealt with just one of the people working there, though, so that may not always be true. It’s a pretty small place, but it’s clean and has a nice atmosphere. It has darts, a pool table, and about 5 or so gambling machines where you can play Keno, Poker and a few other games.
I don’t know if this is the best bar in Huron, because it’s really the only one I’ve went to despite living here for 7 years(I’m just not a bar kind of guy), but I would think it’s probably one of the better ones. The beer selection is my only real complaint, so overall, I don’t think that’s too bad. I wouldn’t mind going there again.
Update: Okay, so I’ve been there a couple more times since then. Lots or shady looking characters go there, and the place is a total dive. It’s strange because it didn’t seem that bad the first time. Perhaps it was because it was mid afternoon. I would highly recommend going elsewhere, like Big D’s or Red Arrow.
