They make a mean chicken noodle soup! It pairs well with a Breckenridge Brewery Christmas Ale.

Overall, a fine neighborhood place for regular American style food. Nothing special food-wise, but the patio is wonderful to hang out in!
WAIT TIME: Came in for a 1:30pm lunch on a Saturday. No wait time to sit outside.
FOOD: I got the half sandwich Reuben combo with a bowl of turkey chili, and my partner got a bowl of turkey chili with a side of tater tots. The chili texture is a bit strange; it’s like a puree instead of a soup. Flavor wise, it tasted good though. I had to add salt and pepper to mine because I found it a bit bland but once I did that it was delicious. The tater tots were nothing special, just like regular from the bag, but they tasted fine. However, the half Reuben I really really liked! I loved that they put the sauce on the side so that I could decide how much to slather on my sandwich.
SERVICE: Our server gave us time to look over menus and kept checking in on us. She was very attentive and very helpful!
AMBIANCE: We were enticed to come here because we drive by the patio and it looked so wonderful. We were not wrong! It was so enjoyable to sit outside and appreciate the nice weather. They also have heaters for colder days it seems. Inside looks like a regular neighborhood pub; not as much my liking but the patio is where I’ll stay!
PRICE: We spent around $15-20 per person, which is reasonable for a lunch meal I would say.

This was boys’ night out sort of. It started with a call from my older brother and trying to reach out to get me and my younger brother together because our spouses went to dinner. So we decided to go somewhere and out of the blue my sister’s partner texted me to see what was going on. Long story short, we met and drove to Sportsmans Park to meet my younger brother. The restaurant is known for its turkey chili. I tasted my brothers it was good but had a little kick (spicy perhaps Shiracha sauce). I had the Sportsman’s Burger with the steak fries. The fries were crisp on outside and tender in the middle. The burger was cooked medium the way I like it. It came with tomato soft cheddar cheese and thousand island dressing . This was a Thursday night, and we had a 30-minute wait. The weather was great 70-degree weather. we sat outside the patio till a table cleared. Our server was courteous and professional. Not a bad night for being spontaneous. Enjoy your night and spend it at Sportsman’s Park.

This restaurant and bar is A Ladue staple where our group enjoyed lunch on the patio today for the first time ever. Our family of 6 used to eat here more routinely when they were younger. My friend and I loved the flowers and greenery on 3 sides and sunshine above shaded by coordinating green umbrellas. I ordered my favorite item on the menu, an avocado and cheese wrap. It is so moist and tasty, and exceptionally filling— but I ate it all anyway! It is rather loud indoors in bar area as you enter because of the busy lunch crowd and signature sports TV but much less so in the indoor and outdoor seating areas, save one Fire Truck leaving the station next door. Our waitress was so attentive, and particularly kind to my elderly priest friend. What a halcyon day!

Sandwich, pizza, wrap options. You can get chicken wings and few other starters. Full bar and good kids menu.
Their pizza was good but I wasn’t impressed with wings. Parking around and on the street.

Sportsmans is a great sports fan (male and female, and kids are welcome) hangout. It’s a real testament to their food, service and the vibe that they’re consistently packed at lunch time on weekdays. And they do it without walls lined with big screen TVs — people engage in lively conversation without that distraction.
Feel free to order pretty much anything on the menu. It’s all delicious, and it will arrive at your table quickly, even when they’re packed. The wait staff are friendly and efficient, especially our favorite, Sue.
And, who knows. If you get lucky, you may run into Blues GM Doug Armstrong, as we did a few visits ago.

20 minutes to get the chili
The cheeseburger and fries came out two minutes after. I asked for it immediately.
Cheeseburger when it came out was not hot and the fries were not hot.
I had no idea who my server was.
I went there because I heard they had great chili and great cheeseburgers, but the service was so not on par but the people were kind
Service was terrible, but yet Everybody was nice

Awesome burgers, love the bacon too! BBQ chicken wrap is great too. Small local restaurant serving great lunches and dinners. Relaxed atmosphere but still quality food.

Nice divesque kind of bar. It was packed on the Sunday before Christmas. I had the turkey chili which was good and the smoked wings wings which were also good. They recommended the white BBQ sauce… I think I should have gotten something more traditional.
My FIL had the bacon grilled cheese. It was also good but it was a bit cool by the time he got to it after his cup of chili.
They had Urban Chestnut Zwickle which might be my favorite beer from St. Louis!
I’ll keep this on my list for my next visit.

Sportsmans is a fantastic spot for meeting friends and enjoying the patio with a cold draft beer in hand. The fish and chips were delicious and the salads were fresh and tasty. It’s also a great option if you’re in the mood for takeout. You’ll also want to try the chili. Anticipating my next visit!
