Enjoyed the food, cozy environment, friendly staff, and that the high tops had foot rests on the table and the chair! I want to return and sit around a fire out outside or come back when it’s warm and dine outside. I had the ribeye special with mashed potatoes, roasted brussels, and apples. The fall cocktails looked super fun, but I opted for a beer from the various selections on draft. Looking forward to going back!

Stopped in for the first time to get a drink and some food to take home. Ordered the “pizza special ” I wish I could remember the name of it to give credit. That was one of the BEST tasting pizzas I have ever tasted!!!! I will definitely be back! Great atmosphere and service as well!

“SKK” is one of those spots you just keep coming back to. Super friendly staff, family-owned, and you can tell they really care about what they’re doing. The food is always great, and the menu changes just enough to keep things interesting without losing the favorites.

It’s perfect in the summer by boat, but honestly, I love going in the off-season too—feels even more like a hidden gem. Can’t recommend it enough!

Nice outdoor seating. Food was pretty good, especially the Brussel sprout appetizer. The service was a bit slow.

This place was really cute and the entire staff was friendly! The meatballs were delicious and the mussels were so yummy. We went and grabbed some drinks, enjoyed the food, and music! Definitely a cute place to go to for drinks or a night out with friends.

The atmosphere is great and the food is even better. I had the Gravy with a meatball and a spicy sausage, not what you might expect at SKK, but fantastic. Great family run restaurant, not to be missed if you are anywhere in the area.

Everything we ordered looked like it had been cooked for too long, including grilled cheese that was just shy of being burnt. Waitress never asked if we wanted refills on drinks, probably because we didn’t order alcohol. Bags of trash left sitting by the kitchen door and patio area, which was attracting a noticeable number of flies. Not someplace I’d visit twice.

Been coming here for years since I moved to the area. It used to remind me of home… The Italian sausage is the best I’ve found in Maine and it brings back memories of my youth in an Italian-American household/neighborhood in Chicago. This past time though, it felt really off and I didn’t feel like I was welcome here.

I ordered a drink at the tiki bar and asked if they took cash out there since I noticed there wasn’t a register. The hot shot walking around like he owns the place went off on a political tangent as a response. Uhh what? I asked if you took cash. A simple yes would have been adequate. It certainly made me feel unwelcome and like I wasn’t part of the famiglia. He also didn’t take my cash after all that and just walked away, so I had to get the other server’s attention to pay.

Service is usually slow because they’re always slammed, but it was particularly bad this time. I shared a fork for half the meal because there were none at the table and had to ask twice to get one. Some of the food was lukewarm when it should have been hot. The “smash burger” is not a smash burger at all, it’s very thick and lacks the iconic crispy and craggy bits that set smash burgers apart from any regular old burger. The new menus are really poorly designed and very difficult to read due to the font, colors, and layout.

Overall, a really disappointing experience from what was once one of my favorite local spots. For a place that prides itself on its Italian roots, I can’t help but think that Nonna would disapprove of the hospitality, or lack thereof.
