Stopped on Sunday noon. Even though a packed house, you are greeted and served in a timely manner. The food here never disappoints! Very generous portions and steaming hot on arrival!

Absolutely fantastic – got the stuffed hash browns (small) and was served a plateful of comfort food goodness. Our server was very friendly and cheerful. Try an orange crush float for dessert. I left feeling so happy and well fed!

This place was pretty packed when our group of 5 came in, but we found a table by the window and sat down. It was a rainy day, so we decided to leave our fishing camp and get some warm comfort food. Are we glad we did. The food was phenomenal and the service was great! We walked away stuffed…heading back to camp for a nap!

I’m sure their breakfast is better, or even other meals, but I got the sirloin steak & it was so tough & chewy, I had to spit out a few bites. (& It was even on the rare side, so it wasn’t because it was over cooked.) The waitress was very attentive with coffee refills. Looking forward to trying their fried fish, & breakfast sometime. Don’t write this place off from one bad meal, it has old fashioned character. So I’m giving it 2 more tries.

Wow real Home cooking!! If you want real good food and service with a smile this is the place to be! Kids and I went there and a Thursday evening at 7:00 pm and it was busy! Food was fresh and hot. I’m bummed I didn’t have room for pie.

It was homemade goodness! I hade a Huge veggie omelette with cranberry toast & it was so Delish! My partner had the sportsman burger and was in Heaven! I’ve never seen him eat a burger with a fork & knife due to all the yummy barbecue sauce seeping out…he’s a sauce guy so this was the ultimate. What an unsuspecting surprise passing through Deer River. Our server was so kind & the patrons very friendly & social. I highly recommend.
