Unfortunately, my visit this time was very disappointing, and I will not be coming back.
I entered wearing a hoodie and a pea coat since it was 39 degrees outside. A friendly waiter at the bar greeted me and began explaining the menu, which I appreciated. However, a manager named Audi approached and asked if everything was okay. I responded politely that I was ready to eat.
The manager then told me that hoodies and outside drinks were not allowed. I understood and immediately removed my hoodie and offered to throw away my bottled water. He insisted I leave the bottle by the door, saying he didn’t know what was inside. He then made an inappropriate comment, asking if I was “getting my windows tinted and what am I doing over here”?
At that point, I thanked the kind young lady who had helped me and decided to leave. I have never been treated this way in a restaurant before.
To the owner of Mecco: I hope you see this review and remind your team that every guest deserves respect and dignity. Policies are understandable, but the way they are enforced matters.

I’m not the type of person to leave reviews unless it’s necessary, but I feel this one is. I came in with good expectations and positive energy to have a drink with a family member, only to leave disappointed by the service.
The bartender greeted us nicely at first, but once we received our shots, my relative simply asked if it was the correct drink and instead of a simple clarification, she gave us a whole attitude. He wasn’t rude or confrontational, just asked a question, yet the way she responded immediately threw the mood off.
We’re not the type of people to react negatively or cause a scene, but the energy completely shifted. Even after paying for our tab, the atmosphere just felt sour. That’s not good customer service.
I do believe this place has potential, and I didn’t try the food so I can’t speak on that but the customer service needs serious improvement…

Awesome place and it’s pretty big. They always have shot and daily food specials on the weekdays, 2 pool tables, 30+ t.v.s, open everyday even holidays. The best part are the employees. They don’t frown at you or act annoyed when you walk in. Nice place to unwind after a long day.

Was here for the Rose Bowl, and particularly excited to see my alma mater #1 Michigan win the CFP and march towards the Championship game after beating #4 Alabama in over time. Wolverines broke the Crimson Tide 27-20. The ambience was amplified by the large number of TVs all around, pool tables and good/reasonably priced food.

Place is hit or miss.. mostly miss. Had a decent experience on a evening ordered a chicken sandwich and it was great. They have food and drink specials during the week. Drinks are priced pretty average. Went in yesterday for a quick bite but had horrible service at the bar. Took a while to get my beer and wasn’t offered a menu or bothered to be checked back on until my beer was almost empty. Staff was too busy talking amongst themselves to help the few people that were inside. Decided to leave after one beer. Nothing special about this place. Would only consider ever going back for a fight night even then I wonder how the service would be.

The kids had fun playing and they tolerated the kids well. But don’t bother coming here for the food. Food was sub par and over priced. Also be aware it’s next to a gentlemans club. The overall experience was good.

Used to live down the street and come to this place all the time, came back to check it out, for one extra chicken strip on a kids meal for my 10yr old the waitress had to ask about adding it and if it was possible and came back and replied that the owner/manager will add one for $5… have anyone ever heard of charging $5 for one chicken strip for a kids meal? He pretty much made it the price of an actual meal … I would have been ok with $3 but $5… this new guy has lost his mind smh no ONE chicken strip is worth $5 lol I have never been at a place that ridiculous lol so just get the grown meal not the kids because of your kid wants more strips your going to have to buy a whole other meal. $8/$14 kids meal just a warning… yes I’m hangry but that white boy a bad owner manager just eating in the back and not knowing how to keep customers.

I want to put a complaint about on the bartender that was there Tory tonight she had the worst attitude ever when giving service to me and also told me as a customer im not allowed in the bar because I did not buy anything for he benefit of making money but I had actually bought something this was worst experience and first time ive had this there the other girls are so much nicer

If I could give Zero I would. Went there before 4pm, no one greeted us and the place was so empty I thought it was closed. One of the drink rounds, we put a draft beer on the picnic table by the pool table area, which slid off and broke- and because we set a draft beer in the corner of the table which according to the manager “should have had a coaster”, it slipped off and broke. The manager said it was our fault and would be charged for that beer and the replacement. “Because we should have known that the table was cooked and not placed the beer there.” Even though there is no sign or warning on the table. Not including we had a table and tab running, and went into the bar when no one (literally no other patrons) was in the bar. The manager exclaimed that it was “only a $5 beer” and “it’s no big deal to pay a $5 drink” and it was our fault and would have to pay for the replacement beverage. We declined and were still charged for the beer that fell off of their table. The manager was also patronizing in saying “so what should I do? Fix the table?” I asked him to take that beer off the tab and replace it, but he refused and asked us to tab out. If this would have been resolved with a replaced drink, we would have stayed and continued our tab. Because of this bad service we tabbed out. There was 1 bartender during our visit and we had to go to the bar for service. Poor managing and servicing.
