I would describe this as a hidden gem – – except it isnt exactly hidden. Food was impressive, and the space and weekly specials are worth the drive. Clean space and great service. Whiteboard in the bar reflects weekly/monthly live music and other activities. New cook/manager is amazing. Never realized so many great athletes came from Larchwood — jerseys on their wall tell an incredible story. Wish we had something like this on the SD side

I enjoyed a nice fresh salad here at the Sports Center. I just wanted to give a HUGE shout out to the waitress/bartender Cheryl (I think that’s her name). She was the ONLY one working here and let me tell you, she was WORKING. She was running around, busting her butt taking orders, making drinks, and serving food. Even though she was very very busy, she made sure to still take good care of our table. I WILL be back if I see it’s Cheryl behind the bar!

FUN bar! We’re live 5 hrs away and found this to be an awesome place to watch FB on a Saturday afternoon. Cheese curds rock, too! Clean, fun, friendly…. happy to stop here!

Saw the Iowa State basketball game at 3pm followed by Iowa basketball game at 5pm. Surprised they didn’t have the sound on for the games and had music playing instead. Later they had live music with a guy on guitar so I can understand that. Guitar player was good, so I had no complaints with that.
